We found out the other day the wife is probably going to be getting nice bonus, so she thought maybe we should get an LCD TV, who am I to object.

Any one have any suggestions at to which ones are better than others or which ones I should avoid?

Thanks in advance

I have a 50 panasonic lcd and couldn't be happier. Sony has the same one but its 400 more just for the name. Picture is just as good. Panosonic also has a 60 in which costs about 3700 or so. Just in time for football!!!!

Unfortunatley we wont' get it before football season, probably around Christmas, I just want to make sure we have it for our annual Superbowl Party.

We are planning on hanging it on the wall, which in my opinion if you're going to get one of these is the only option.

that is a great price for that tv, as long as its still in good condition. They do say you will have replace the bulb in the tv probably 1 time in 4 years, it costs 250 and you probably will have to pay someone 100 bucks to come and put in for you. If you buy it at the store for 250 you can get insured for 4 years and have everything done for for free. But if you get the tv for that cheap and its in good condition, then paying 300-400 bucks later down the road may be worth it.
