Leach interview with Washington

What's going on Scotty? I heard your brother will be joining during the week here shortly, that should be fun for you two.
I just think it's a job that has a ton of potential. Tech is pretty much maxed out, we'll never be ever to out recruit UT and OU and once either Nebraska or Colo kick in Tech will be the odd one out.
Washington has had a strong program in the past and I think it could easily be number 2 in the west behind USC. It's my opinion and maybe I think of the Wash program too highly.
I just got an email and it said Mora will be taking the job but not until the end of the season. Who knows. It will suck to lose Leach this year, I wish it would have happened last year so we could have gotten Briles.

Wood he takes it if offered. But let's face it - he doesnt interview well and he has some problematicv off the field activity. He tried for UCLA and Miami and others and got spurned.
But I have heard for awhile he is gone, with rumors being Briles goes to Tech and Turner Gill to Baylor. GIll was approache dby Syracuse and declined saying "I expect a Big 12 job." - Baylor would be the only possibility. Briles waited 3 years for Leach to leave and finally gave up and took Baylor. Possible he wont leave but cant see him staying in Waco if Tech offers.

I think Leach takes the Washington job also, he has maxed out at Tech and can't recruit against the likes of Texas or OU.
