I know the title of you thread is what you believe but maybe people are thinking for themselves and not believing everything that people were told since birth like Santa, Tooth Fairy, and Easter Bunny.
Maybe it is time that gays should be looked upon without prejudice in all forms, even church.
If nobody told me to believe in God or had mentioned God to me from birth, then I would never know any of the talk of religion and God existed. :shrug: It's not something people innately know from birth unless taught. Unlike self preservation, attributes one is born with.
This is one reason why I think religion is made up. For man to control man and have dominance over another. Nothing in this world has killed more people than religion.

As far as knowing something from birth,you could apply that to anything.As far as gays in a leadership role ,read ,no not just read ,read and understand the word and you will see why this is wrong.
Look at 1 Corinthians you can learn alot about this subject,if you can understand.I would advise a knowledgeable teacher to read and explain it as its hard to decipher on ones own.

Yeah you could apply that to a lot of things but Maslow's Heirarchy of Needs is innate in all of us. Self preservation, We need food, shelter, etc. These are things that are not taught to us. Much like 1 + 1 equals 2. It is always going to be that way regardless if we are taught that or not. Where as religion you just don't know about it unless it is hammered down one's throat.
Gays in a leadership role is just wrong? What do you want me to read? :shrug: It's not my lifestyle but I do not care about another person's lifestyle so why are a lot of people not accepting of this?
Is it because people are sick of the idea? To tell you the truth the thought of it can male me queezy but does not make me hate. I think religion is a safe place for a few racists who can hide behind religion to spew hate towards a group?
It is only wrong because we as society have been told it is wrong, I think for myself and could care less what some guy in a gown tells me.,

No I didn't say you were a racist. That was not my intent. I just feel that if you believe like me that religion is all made up then there has to be a racist point to it. I think people who are racists can hide behind religious beliefs to justify their racism.
When you are born and are a child adults give you food and shelter. As an adult, I do. It's not a belief that does.
