Yeah the most epic collapse in the sport, possibly any sport, doesn't seem so bad now.

Better then the Bruins sweeping the Pens and Pens scoring 2 goals in the entire series

Losing in Game 7 of Overtime is one thing.

Just keep telling yourself that, whatever helps you sleep at night kick

The Leafs choked away their 3 goal lead to get to overtime

Then lost to complete the most epic collapse in history :toast:

But yes let's keep comparing it to a sweep that has happened countless times before :142smilie

Still can't sleep trust me.

Was horrid way to go out.

Hell of an effort from the Leafs, just terrible way to end.

But that doesn't come close from getting swept and scoring two goals in the entire series.

They scored 2 goals the entire series

That ladies and gentleman is a disgrace and beyond pathetic.

Nice job Pitt:00x12

4 years ago Boston led Philly 3 games to none. They led the 4th game 3-0.
Philly won the series.
This is the epic collapse all others can be measured against.
Since then the Bruins won their first cup in 40 years, and are back in the final again.

It may have been mentioned, but I didn't hear it. The 4 teams in this years' semi-finals are the Stanley Cup champs from the 4 previous years.
Can't imagine that ever happened before.

It has happened once before, cant recall the exact year but it was prior to 1980 when the last 4 Cup winners met in the 2 conf. finals.

So. Cal
probably doesn't help much but my guess is this one feels a little better for leafs fans than pit getting swept by bos!

bos goes out the way they stayed alive......and I think this one is worse as the cup is actually on the line.

Boston's choke job in the Finals is definitely bad. But it was game 6 when they were down 3-2, and they would have still have had the task of winning a game 7 at Chicago. This choke isn't as bad as the Leafs'. Toronto was on the cusp of winning their first playoff series in a decade.

I mean George W. Bush was still in his first term as president the last time the Leafs won a playoff series.

YouTube wasn't even launched yet.

Penguins scored 2 goals in the entire series.......that was by far the worst.

Absolutely pathetic:mj07: :mj07: :mj07:
