was getting a little worried that they would have to play New Jersey........PHEW


If the Leafs were healthy I'd say that take care of Philly with little problem............but since they're battling tons of injuries I say it will take em 6 games......after all they did make the final four last year with about 177 injuries


Now.......bring on the playoffs

who are these leafs you speak of?? apparently there are 2 teams out there called the leafs because the ones i have been watching have no shot at beating philly unless Belfour carries the whole team on his back, which is possible

they do have an excellent coach but a coach can't jump on the ice and play..........if the Leafs had all their players I'd say they take em easily......but with the injuries it will be much tougher.......6 games should do it

call me crazy, but i'd be happy to take a record like that into the playoffs any day.

not to mention they outscored their opponents 26 - 7 in their last 7 games.

You have to admit the Leafs are missing a lot of key players and I don't care what kind of team you are.....that plays a big role

... and now that i think about it ... i'd much rather be facing NJ in the playoffs (and as a Bruins fan, i got my wish ... rather it was Wash or TB though) ...

at least with NJ you know EXACTLY what is coming. they have played the same game - the exact same package - nite after nite after nite ... all year long.

but i suppose you better be healthy and in good shape to face them ... there will be lots of "extra innings" i suspect.

The only the injuries the Leafs will have on Wed. night for Game 1 will be Wesley(yes it hurts their D) and Gilmour. Come on, any other injuries and I don't know of any others. Gilmour would be their 3rd center at best so I don't understand why all the concern about the so-called injuries.

ks - and I quote " with all the Leafs injuries it will be a tougher but still win in 6" Do I hear excuses already for the Leafs?? Come on, they are part of the game and the ones the Leafs have are not earth shattering. Yes Wesley is a big loss but the minutes Gilmour gets would be 10 minutes at best and that is from Quinn's mouth. I will add something in a day or two.
