I was doing the same thinking has you but i just dont like this stat

At home Vancouver scores 3 goals or more in 71% of its game
Toronto when allowing 3 goals or more on the road 3-10
specially whit the kind of off Vanc showed latelly.
Of course their is that let down first game home after away.

I like the over(i didn't say big) but for the side i'll continu doing my research but in my case this looks like a we will know at warm up who is in.
I HOPE YOU GUYS FROM VANCOUVER CAN HELP US AT THAT POINT:D

I'll be on the ice myself at that time, Ive got a game at 7:00 PM. So I won't be able to check on warm up. If any one else can ?...

One other thing makes this one a little differant, both teams are going to shower and head straight to the airport for a flight to Alberta. Both will be getting to thier respective cities around 2:00AM.
EDM is a big game for TOR and Cujo also.
In my opinion VAN needs a win against CAL more than TOR as CAL is in thier way for a playoff spot.

Too many conflicting factors.
I think I'm going to lay off sides for this game and like Frogy go small on the over.

I've got too much time on my hands today...

Over under stats dating back to beginning of last season

TOR in game 1 of B2B:
O/U 8-12-3, total 4.96 goals avg.

TOR in game 1 of B2B when both games on the road:
O/U 3-4-1, total 5.50 goals avg.

Over-Under record for tenders when starting game 1 of B2B on road:
Joseph, 2-2-0
Healy, 0-2-0
Schwab, 1-0-1

Joseph has played both games of B2B on the road 4 times out of 8 opportunities since beginning of last season. Seems a 50% chance of Cujo in net tonight.

Cujo vs. VAN since beginning of last season
overall, 2-1-1 (W-L-T), total goals avg. 7.25
in VAN, 1-1-1 (W-L-T), total goals avg. 8.00
still big scores, but not same situation.

Cujo has started all games for TOR vs. VAN since beginning of last season. Not always in this same situation.

here's my big bold hunch... Cujo starts for TOR. If he does VAN will play more conservative in front of backup Skudra.

No total play for me.

One note about this game.
Leafs' assistant coach Keith Acton is absent and he's Leafs' PK specialist coach. He evaluate the opposition's PP and formulate the defence against it. Considering Canucks' PP these days (11 for 33 last 8 games), Leafs might miss Acton a lot tonigh.
