Manning has yet to win a game in Foxboro...and is going with one of the best game preparation coaches in the NFL...and the PATS are 9-0 at home...

These are the two best teams in the AFC, and I will take either against the NFC winner...

At first glance this games looks like the classic match-up of the "irresistable force" vs. the "immovable object". But is it really?

The first game ended 38-34 PATS. BOTH teams can put points on the board, and the weather, while cold, should not slow these offenses down too much...

Manning leads the Colts 3rd ranked Offense against Patriots 7th ranked defense...PATS are ranked 17th on offense vs. the Colts 11th ranked D...

I will guarantee that Manning has studied Belichecks defensive schemes from the Super Bowl vs. the Rams to this year...he has shown me his greatest strength is the ability to spot a defensive scheme and call a correct play vs. that scheme...

The fulmination and maturation point may have been the second half vs. the PATS when Manning caught fire in the second hafl and almost pulled out a victory a few weeks ago...

This is how I am playing the Sunday games...

1. 7 point TEASE

COLTS +10.5, OVER 35, and PANTHERS +11 [5 units]

FOR FUN PROPS: [1/2 unit each]

1. Total points scored both games 84-91 [+350]

2. Panthers team total OVER 16 [-115]

3. Which Place Kicker scores most [of 4] - Panthers' Kasay [+300]

4. Colts/Pats over 21 first half [+100]

5. Panthers +2 [first half] [+100]

6. 3 unanswered scores [Eagles/Panthers] - NO [+145]

7. Edgerin James OVER 92.5 yards

The referees...

The referees...

sucked...

I guess it now is OK for a wide receiver to be checked by a defender in the first 5 yards.

AND then hit again by a second defender after the 5 yards.

Colts got hosed on this time and again...they still probably would have lost, give 4 ITs by Manning, but the officiating crew did a terrible job, IMO...

I completely agree, what a joke. Other games the flags are on the field all day. I won my bet but the calls were missing.

Re-cap and analysis...

Re-cap and analysis...

WON... :) ... the 5 unit teaser, thanks to the last minute Field Goal by Adam Vinateri...I was very surprized that Colts didn't pound Edgerin James...only 7 touches in the first half for 35 yards, and 15 for the game - would have like to see at least 25 - 30 runs......his running was most of the successful first drive of the second half and NE could not slow him down - went away from that to lose the game mostly due to the Colts offense turning the ball over...defense held PATS to 1 field goal...

I am leaning to taking Carolina next week - and going to look closely at the UNDER - with 2 very good defensive teams...
