Don't even want me to get going with the capps on this, like i said when i ment him at the big time hoops turney 2 years ago him and sp amarie sttodemeyer i said they would be top nba players you can do a seach i called it and gave you guys a day by day break down of the games best aau tourney around. but got a picture taken with both and signed and gave them a unlv baseball shirt each.

The state of ohio hs comminsion has used this jid to pull in so much money for the state it's not even funny. I told you he was a very bright and well spoken young man and all kinds of guys slamed him and my statement and if you take the time to look it up i also was sitting beside the top scout for the lakers and he told me that james at this stage of the game is way a head of bryant.

Well they could not get him on the hummer not to hard to figure it out the bank gave mom the loan because the knew he was good for it down the road, and it was all done under the rules. They had espn come in and show 3 games this year already and moved all home games and ticket prices are as much as going to a duke game for some seats.

Some one ask awhile ago if he was insured incase he got hurt yes major policy. the state of ohio should put it's head in the sand because they used this kid for all they could get and so has many other people. but soon the joke will be on them this young man is far from a dumb jock and like i said very polite have both thier pictures hanging in my office with me singed and dated.

Well ohio you lose out because he was going to set up a fund when he got started and everything in order to help out parks and recs as well as a fund to help upgrade some of the gyms in ohio in the smaller communities. Well ohio hsac ****ed up you bleed the kid and took all you could get like a leach then pull this shit. lot more rules being broken then this in hs sports and the ncaa might as well forget it because he does not give a shit about playing college ball but he is going to go to college and get degree because he told his mother he would.

Everyone that could make a buck on this kid did but he will be set for life in a few months also has 2 attorneys in family so he will be just fine but the state of ohio won't see shit and i don't blame him.

What a bunch of jerks to take take and take then pull that ,maybe they should look a little harder at cinn moller, cardnial money in youngstown masslon or canton mchinley lots of shit goes on there i could name about 6 more ohio schools i know for a fact in fb and baseball break rules that would give the ncaa the big one. moller has been the biggest cheaters in fb for 20 years now others in the us are catching up one school in ca that starts with a D in fb. i can name 5 in fl in baseball and 10 in fb tampa area is the worst for that and bolles out of jacksonville where chipper jones went.

Hs cheat as much as college if not more because coaches take major kick backs from bossters at big programs if they can slide the kid some cash to get him there and a job on work study watering the grass and the kicker there auto sprinlers trust me i have seen it all.

James did not cheat he has been cheated but he will be the one who will have the last laugh, but ohio cheats more then any state in hs sports along with fl,ca and tx. unreal and coaches know it in college.

Ohio hsac you gave yoursel a major black eye

Yup totally agree, Eric. It is a damn shame. I know first hand that high schools (especially private schools that charge tuition) are recruiting and giving kickbacks. They had it in for this kid from the start. I think all the money that was made off of his ability needs to go to a worthwhile charity. Otherwise, it is the most hypocritical act I have ever seen

I find it even more amazing that they can find the time to see if Lebron did anything wrong and not spend those same resources on improving the school district. Why can't someone profit if they have the talent to do so??? We live in a society that does not know how to spend its resources.

The next question that I have is this. If he were a white person living in a nice neighborhood would any of this stuff get brought up??? My answer is no. We all know that his mom could not afford this hummer but if they were living in a neighborhood that someone could see this as an affordable gift it would have gotten swept under a rug.

Let's spend our resources RIGHT!!!!!!

Yeah, its a damn shame that they are picking on poor LeBron. After all its totally appropriate for a high school kid living in public subsidized housing to be driving around our town in a nearly 100K Hummer. Though the jerseys may seem petty to most, the act still is a clear violation on OHSA rules, and clearly a case of LeBron using his fame to aquire goods that his teammates or any other student athelete in town certainly could not.

Perhaps in addition to signing for a 100K vehicle, Maybe LeBron's mother could have afforded an hour with a lawyer who could have well advised LeBron that all the wolves will be out, and clearly lay out the rules for him so that an unfortunate event such as this would never happen.

The real losers in this injustice, are LeBrons teamates who will labor in vain when it comes trying to secure a state title.

LeBron James will get his fame and rewards in the near future, rewards his teamates now can only dream about.

On the course!
I agree with Spanger.

This kid has pimped as much as being pimped. I won't deny the kid his riches, but the fact remains, he aint playin by the book, either.

bull shit the ohsa are just as bad like i said i have delt with them and know other coaches who have for many years they are far from on the up and up they started getting heat and passed it off.

the hummer was on the up and up ncaa or the ohsa could do nothing about it. it called a loan against project future earnings and ligit as long as it was mad to the parent. and trust me the osha got lots of money from espn and addis as well as other people. i am not saying poor james but he has been used by others to turn a buck so he she get what ever he can get. why should the ohsa clean house the same way as ncaa schools do off of players yet players get little in return and don't say how about the avg student ,well i will tell you fb and hoops bring in more money then any other thing that major universitys could match. you would shit if you knew how much the fb program at fl and ut brings in not only ticket sales but how much money the boosters give ,i will tell you it is more then any other school program does it pays for most of the big projects that these schools need like new class rooms dorms ect way more then just sports i know this as fact your biggest backers in getting a new med school building or social science buliding comes from the major sports boosters that are rich alum and love their sports teams. I was at a major D1 program i know where the board comes to when they need big money for a project on campus. it's not the research dept from the school of med alum. they come to the big boys who have the tv contracts, radio shows not a public access channel showing a bone graft. sports at big d1 schools get the money from sports and alum who love their sports. say what you want i know this a fact i have set in on meetings when board of regions come to the coaches to get them to hit the big boys up for money for a project that would never get done with out the help of the alum that is the sports backer and with out the coach making the contact it would never happen. All students at big programs benifit from their sports program direct and in direct.

no kidding and the ohsa made a killing on tv rights as did the school and they also got a 35% cut of all ticket sales to the games where the boosted the ticket prices. who do you think set all this up james no it was the ohsa to bring in big bucks so you can't lay blame on the kid. the shirts were a infraction but this guy has given many shirts to others he has a ton he gave tony cornhole a few a couple years ago, joe pa from penn.st which buy the way i think he had a state of the art library built at penn.st out of most of his money.

you can't say 2 wrongs don't make a right here when the ohsa was the ones who set it all up to pimp him. he was gpoing to be in nba with out there help, but they wanted in on the action and cash they used him. there is nothing you can say that can be backed that james has not had major money made off of who he is. Like i said he was and is going to get all he needs soon but others took what they could get for free and when heat got turned up they passed the buck. like i said he could give a shit about the state now . here you had a young man not even out of high school getting things in line to help parks and rec and other hs in ohio to up grade to give back because he knew he would be able to. He did not have to think about that is was because he is a good kid with a gift. ohio schools already made money from his name yet he was going to help the lesser schools in the state get more up to date well i think that was great. how about ohsa useing the cash to do the work they bilked his name for the last 2 years not a chance that will happen.

Fletcher i have to disagree here....Number 1 what is did was aginst the rules by accepting the shirts from the store.....Now if they let that slide then that just opens the doors for all kinds of cheats to come out of the woodworks....opens way to many gray areas that they do not want to deal with.......they made there money off of him but every college in america also makes money at there athletes expense.....................so just because he is the man of Hs bb doesn't mean that he plays by another set of rules...............

i said he was wrong with the shirts but i am standing to the guys that say they are sick of poor james red my write up about how ncaa schools get all their big projects done most of the time through sports and boosters ,i agree he can't play again i have no problem with that i have a problem with ohsa and how they try to put the whole blame on him and act like they did not make a killing from him and llike i said they are one of the worst in the us in cheating and taking kick backs and all or most d1 coaches know it. the privite schools in ohio are unreal with what they get away with and inturn money goes down the line.

if i made it look like i thought he should be able to keep playing that was not my case he can't and should not but some of the statement made by ohsa today were total bull shit like one guy said we have had questions for 2 years well hell if they had questions why did they set up the espn deals and lwt ticket prices go up that high for a high scholl game and then take a 35% extra cut out of ticket sales, thats on top of what they get % wise already for sales of tickets. that is my point. not that he should be able to play because he can't that i stand firm by but for the ohsa to act like they did not have their hand in the cookie jar is bs and like i said they are right up with ca,fl,and tx when it comes to cheating in hs sports and kick backs.

Legit or not , there is'nt one high school kid that should be driving a 50-60-70 whatever the hell thousand $ vehicle to school:: no matter how much cash James has or will have he is still a KID and should learn the meaning of EARNING his rewards:: Kicking ass vs HS kids not in his league does not constitute earning this reward::When he gets to the NBA and starts pounding the hardwood have at it, nice JOB MOM teaching your son a little humility and empathy for his TEAMMATES who when he is gone and are forgotten about, will not forget his selfish reward that got the ball rolling to hose them out of a State Championship::God forbid you buy him some basic transportation till he goes Big Time::

So I guess everyone is in agreement that one can profit off of these kids and we can't reward them???? Big deal if he is driving around in a hummer. Big deal if someone wants to give him a jersey. Next time they should give it to his mom and she can give it to him as a gift. We only live life once and we might as well live it to the fullest extent!!!!!

Fletcher is exactly right about who pays the bills in Div 1 colleges. A perfect example he gave was University of Tennessee. One of my best buds has season tickets. Every year he is REQUIRED to send in a $500 DONATION as a booster, just to have the ability to purchase his season tickets. Without this donation, he does not get to buy the season tickets, which are $38 a game to sit 8 rows from the field. I think is a terrible view, if theaction is not right on this goal line, you have no depth perception. With 8 home games, this adds up to over $1600 a year to see college atheletics, which adds up to over $200 per game. Then you figure expenses to drive from Nashville to Knoxville. These figures are outrageous!! When you figure that the UT stadium holds 107,000 people to every game, you add up how much money this program makes for the university. How much do you think the price of a scholarship adds up to, plus the amount of coaches salaries? These are low priced seats. If you jusr used a small number of $1000 per seat per year and 107,000 seats, this program is pulling in over $100,000,000 per year for the university. This does not include the refreshments or clothing apparel.

Now you look at costs for a professional team. I have season tickets for the Tennessee Titans. We had to pay a one time fee of $1000 a seat for the LIFETIME usage of my seats. This happens in all of the new stadiums, is called a Permanent Seat License{PSL}, and is used to help the financing of the stadium as well as other reasons. My seats are $40 a game per seat, which adds up to $800 a year for 8 regular season games a year plus two exhibition games. My seats are also on the 40 yard line!! I also have my own seat with a cup holder. Most college stadiums are sitting on aluminum benches!! Now this team has only 67,000 seats and a payroll of of nearly $70,000,000 a year to pay!! The Titans are a lucky franchise in that every ticket is sold within one hour for the entire season. We also have over 56,000 season ticket holders  It is hard to figure out how many of the NFL teams even survive.

My point is, I agree with Fletcher in the major college football teams pay for the revenue of the entire university. This includes those snooty, higher than thou professors and administrators that go out of their way to cause dispruption to athletes and the program. These athletes pay THEIR salaries!!!

Also, these private schools have been giving so-called scholarships for years to athletes to come to the schools. How do you think a school with 200 students can vow for national championships? When was the last time a public school won the national championship? Some of these private schools have tuitions of over $15,000 a year and you have inner city kids attending. I am sure the parents living in subsidized housing are paying these fees. They use these kids for there abilities.

Lebron James is the best high school player maybe in history. He did a favor to a store promotion that made them way more money from his appearance than accepting a couple of jerseys.

Good grief, in another year his will be the most popular selling jersey in the NBA:cool:
