Yeah I put Magic up there too. I think Bird was better but Magic has more rings b/c overall Lakers just had more talent, not to mention East was tougher. Lakers had to deal with Rockets and Mavs while Celtics were battling good Sixer teams early and then good Piston teams late in the decade.
Still, they were both great, great players on great teams. Like I said before, we can only wonder what the late 80's and early 90's would have been like if Len Bias was there. Pistons may have never gotten past Celtics and you may have seen Lakers vs Celtics in finals about 3-4 more times.
