CAUTION:

i have been told by a couple store associates at bb that they adjust models that are in overstock to appear better than other model displays on the floor.:nono:

research research research...

in the end you have to give up a little unless you want to pay...

i prefer the smart tv as i can switch to my computer hdmi very quickly and easily on the 55. pretty cool.

game on, madjacksports pip, book site...

boom!

Makes sense if true. I was in for a totally different reason so just took a look in passing.

As a side not, Best Buy is expensive as hell with their computer accessories. They wanted $70 for a hard drive enclosure for the extra hard drive I have. I went to radio shack and picked one up for $15:facepalm: Do that many people really just buy shit without even checking to see what they run at other places:shrug:

checkout newegg.com when you don't need the item right away.

I avoid Best Buy for just about everything computer related.

Phone accessories as well..

Definitely Newegg. I remember a few years ago one of my buddies was bitching that he spent something like $50 on an hdmi cable at Best Buy. I laughed and told him to get on the internet next time, they are around $10, and probably much less now. Thunder, always wanted to ask someone that would have the knowledge and give a truthful answer, is the quality of the off brands (Westinghouse, Coby, etc.) that much worse to warrant buying a major brand (Samsung, Sony, etc.)? Are the off brands catching up with the quality technology that the major brands have always offered? Sometimes the same tv can be almost twice as expensive. I have an LG and love it, but have always wondered.

yea buddy...would like feedback on that also..

was told most of the lesser known brands and less expensive are the same componets and equally reliable as their more expensive counterparts.

and truth be known they are made by the llikes of Samsung..Sony.. on the same assembly lines on a different day..

i can not stand watching movies at 240 mhz. the characters look fake and soap opera like.

give me a good blur and good darks any day.

anyone else not a fan of the 240mhz in movies?
Helped my parents get a similar Samsung LED, don't recall the model number offhand.

My father went bananas over the weird motion issues you are describing . After showing me what he was talking about, it became an obsession for me as well. I did a ton of research online and eventually found which settings to change. :0074

It's total crap and I can't understand how anyone could watch the TV with that setting active.
