69 Road Runner. Blue on blue. 383, 4 speed, Edelbrock Hi-rise, and a Rochester double pumper!! Man wish I had that car now!!

69 was by far the best year of the muscle cars.
Had a friend with a solid white Road Runner, same
as yours, red interior. What we got by with back
then is beyond imagination. I and probably many
in this forum should be dead or behind bars.

Good Times Bad Times :00hour
Communication Breakdown :00hour

I had a double 8 track tape Zep 1 & 2, WORE
THAT SUM BITCH OUT in my first car, '64 Chevy
SS Impala, had the best stero system in my little
home town, also had a double 8 track of
Steppenwolf 1 & 2. Had speakers in the DOORS
and behind the back seats but also had holes
next to the speakers to drop our empties into
the trunk, spent the night with my best friend
on a Friday night because his parents were out of
town, (we were out ALL night), drive up in his
driveway at about 7:00 AM, open the trunk and
empty beer cans fall out, Impala has a HUGE
trunk, and the neighbor across the street,
(lawyers wife), is driving out of her driveway
at the same time and see's empty beer cans
falling out of my trunk. :mj07: We both looked
at each other and :mj07: One of the greatest
memories of all time in my youth. Most of you
know how big the trunk of a '64 Impala is.
Granted, I let it build up for a while, but it was

Dust off the Bong and put Dazed and Confused on your I Pod. Best Guitar solo of all time. Make sure you use a little ice in the bong water to cool off the smoke.

Have 2 degrees from OSU, spent probably 12
years in Stillwater, I absolutely would move back
there if I could, at one point in my life I was the
keg route salesman for AB in '82 to '84 then a
package driver '84 to '86. Had keys to all the bars
because in those days it was 18 drinking age and
during football weekends we worked from
midnight friday night to midnight sat night
delivering kegs. I still hold the record for kegs in a
12 hour period (256) because shortly after the
drinking age went to 21. Have MANY stories to
tell of that job :142smilie

Talk of a Led Zeppelin reunion just refuses to go away.

Billboard reported in July that the band may get together for a proposed tribute to the late producer/record mogul Ahmet Ertegun at the O2 in London in November (Billboard, Aug. 4).

Now on ledzeppelin.com the date 11.13.07 mysteriously appears with the familiar Zep symbols. And several people saw the band touring the O2 during Prince's recent stand at the new 20,000-seat London arena. A press conference next Wednesday (Sept. 12) in London may clear everything up.

There has been talk that tour producers AEG Live and Michael Cohl's CPI (Rolling Stones, Genesis, Barbra Streisand) have put in offers on a Zep tour featuring founding members Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones with late drummer John "Bonzo" Bonham's son Jason on drums. But it is also well-known in the industry that standing offers have been on the table for a Led Zeppelin tour for more than a decade.

Nov. 13 also has another significance: it's the drop date of a new Atlantic/Rhino two-disc, 24-track best-of set, "Mothership." Additionally, a deluxe reissue of the soundtrack to the 1976 concert film "The Song Remains the Same" with previously unreleased material and a new DVD edition of that movie will arrive Nov. 20 via Atlantic/Rhino and Warner Home Video, respectively
