Well, I am certain that it didn't end the way anyone, especially Mario wanted it to, but today Mario announce his final retirement from the NHL.
Just days ago he announced the team was for sale and I won't do him the discredit of speculating about the timing of the two, but it looks bad for the fans of Pittsburgh.
Thanks Mario for all the great memories, too many to list thats for sure. You will be missed both on and off the ice by the city.
