LeRoy's College Football Challenge Picks WEEK 1

For those of you who don't know me (about 90% here), I've cashed in the Hilton Contest 2 of the 3 years I've played, but college has always been my passion, so I'm planning on making some waves in the Leroy's College Football Contest in Vegas this year.

I'll try and get my picks here everyweek..

Here's my crack at a 7-0 WEEK 1 (ALL LINES ARE FROM THE CONTEST !!!)

Clemson +1.5
Auburn -15.5
Texas +.5
Nebraska -7.5
Alabama -12.5
Washington +9.5
Stanford -2.5


There were a couple others that I liked on Saturday, but some were OFF the board for the contest or just not listed, but I feel VERY confident in 6 of em, and Texas, I just have that gut feelin...so we'll see how that turns out.

Yep..they had NL in the contest because of the line swing due to change of venue...but, my take..


1 Unit on LSU +105
Arizona St POUNDED Temple last week 63-16..YAWN. They barely covered that 32 point spread. And this is NO TEMPLE team they are facing this week. LSU is ready to hit somebody, and the SunDevils will feel the pain early and often in this one as LSU returns more talent here than just about any team in the nation with 10 offensive and 7 defensive starters. The loss of QB Marcus Randall is a blessing in disguise giving the SUPER talented JaMarcus Russell a shot under center. Justin Vincent and Joseph Addai are 2 hard nosed runners, throw in the shifty Sharone Carey, and LSU has too much in the backfield for ASU to slow up, some young WRs have another year to grow and LSU should get off to a convincing start on the road !!
