Hmmmmm. I picked up my first win in the NIT with the Mich-Bows over but lost the other two (Hawaii +10 and the over in Villa-Rutgers). Overall I boast an outrageously pitiful 1-6 record in the NIT for an even more pathetically poor -15.9 units. My NCAA tourney record is better.....but nothing to brag to the family at the dinner table about! With all that said, I still have to be optimisitc about getting the NIT behind me and working on my new moves for tonights party!

I will be putting some time into tonight's contests as the card is small. Expect a "new" avator and tonights selections in the early afternoon.

OK BOYS and girls! I am going to stick with this one until they exit the tournamant which hopefully won't be until they have a trophey to carry home. I would love more then anything else to see a BIG 12 Championship repeat between OKie State and the Horns (round 4).

Make sure you get that Okie State under 2 or play the money line. I was leaning towards the Cuse but faded away from it. Love Marquette in the NIT but with my lack of luck lately in that tourney, I AM PASSING!

3-0 last night for +10 units. I will update my record after the weekend.

I am going to stick with this thread throughout the weekend as well. Its that superstician thing again.

I absolutely love the Longhorns to win the game tonight!!! Hence the avatar I chose yesterday and will stick with until they do me wrong. Longhorns DEPTH will again prove to be the factor. This team has been winning while playing very poorly. Can you imagine if they get things going offensively??? Xavier has been playing very inspired bball lately and hitting an unbelieveble percentage of their threes, and BIG ONES AT THAT. But, this is still a team that I witnessed live LOSE to my beloved Hoosiers????? Tonight their trip ends.

Lowell, Illinois IMO is too inconsistent to EVER get a good read on. Duke suffers from the same problem. I have not been impressed with Reddick all year, Duhon is ailing and Deron Williams seems to be in full stride of late. Personally I don't like the side! I do feel that even with Duhon hurting that this game will be a very fast paced, guard dominated track meet and like the total to get in the high 150's or greater.

What a game that Okie State-St Joes turned out to be. One of the top 5 I have ever watched on TV. Being on the ML caused my scream to be a little louder and my jump off the coach to be a little higher after Lucas' shot!!!!!


Anyway, Going to keep the flag up for the BIG 12 as I am backing the Jayhawks today as well.


Kansas ML -200 5 units

I know.....that is a lot of chalk for a game of this magnitude (kan ML), but they don't say ROCK CHALK jayhawk for nothing. I am laying it as the 4-5 is just to scary to me. I could see this one either being a Jayhawk close win or a jayhawk comfortable win, but with the Simien and Giddens playing as well as they are right now, playing in St Louis, and Elder ailing I have to think Kansas is the second Big 12 team to punch their ticket to San Antonio.

Lots of points in the Duke-Xmen game. I have it in the upper 150's. Think 8 is too much and +335 on the ML for a team that has won 9 SU and 16 of their 17 is GREAT Value, but with Coach K I can only risk 1 unit!
