Worst night in a very long time for me Thursday. . . wouldn't you know it, the only play that won was my b.s. total play of the year on UCLA/Oregon. . . still only played it small as I do for any total that I feel the need to play. To top it off, my Arizona team lost to Stanford leaving most college basketball followers shaking their heads.

Anyways, enough crying. I thought about playing today's games until I realized there isn't a single game that I would play on today's card if it was being played on Saturday. No reason to chanse recent losses. Looking at several games for Saturday including:

Syracuse
Cincy
Richmond
Arizona State

Still looking and of course waiting for the lines to come out. Be back late tonight with my plays for the morning and early afternoon. Should have some good plays to get back on the winning side, but can't see it happening with Friday's card.

Hey nickel, what the F happened to our cats? I mean I hoenstly thought we still could've covered in the 2nd half. Im telling that blown Walton dunk with like 3 mins left that would've put us up 5, was the game breaker. From that point on our ralley died and so did we. I mean $hit I thought we'd win that for sure. Never fun to lose as 15 point favs at home.

The Cal game should be interesting. If history is any indicator, look for Salim to GO OFF. He played just 17mins and scored 3 vs Stanford. Correct me if I am wrong but he played like a$$ vs the scum devils then came back and blew up on Kansas. As long as we can slow down Shipp and Tamir, I see a big win for us. Definetly will be a solid performance. Any word on the line yet?

I follow the BIG 12 myself, went to one of the BIG 8 U's long before the Big 12 was even mentioned. There are a couple of Big 12 cappers I follow, Jaycadd is one,& Dr. Freeze, The King of the Big XXII, is another. I follow alot of others also,THAT ARE CAPPERS I respond to threads on this forum and only post any of my plays on TV's POD, other than the Super Bowl, TB ML WINNER. I follow NO ALL, also.

Pretty tired tonight, but figured I'd go ahead and post my plays with a little analysis tonight. . . sorry, not the best writeups, but I'll include more tomorrow if anybody doesn't understand the reasoning for one of my play . . . not sure about the lines yet as they could change and I have decided to wait until about an hour before tipoff of the early games to place my bets:

Richmond over Xavier. . . hoping the line moves up half a point to three. Either way, doesn't really matter. This is my strongest play on the entire board. Think the wrong team is favored here only because Richmond pulled the upset at Xavier. Most are probably expecting the tables to turn. Xavier is much different on the road. . . not as dominante as at home except they do have that impressive win at Cincy. Still, that's a rivalry game where anything can happen. Richmond has only lost to Wake Forest at home. Just feel they will be able to handle this Xavier team as well as they did on the road given they are playing on their own rims. I'm amazed the public for now is on Xavier but that's fine with me!

Syracuse over Pitt. . . Another game where the home team should be favored. Cuse simply plays better ball at home. Shooting percentage should go up. Pitt could struggle shooting on different rims. Cuse should be able to pick up some extra fouls being they are at home and the more athletic team IMO.

Kansas State over Oklahoma. . . I believe Kansas State wins this game. . . solid team playing at home and they dominate statistically at home vs. OU on the road. Think this low line is saying something as well. I will consider the ML for this game.

Georgetown over Notre Dame. . . great writeups on this game from other cappers. Basically, Notre Dame is a perimiter team. THey are solid at home while GTown is horrible on the road, so why only the 8 point spread? GTown will have a huge advantage in the paint which should keep this game very close. GT has a legitimate chance of taking this game.

Cincy over Marquette. . . first off a system play. . . second off, even though Cincy isn't that great at home, Marquette hasn't been very impressive on the road. Should be a hard fought game, but I'll go with a small play on Cincy.

Oregon State over UCLA. . . small play here as well. UCLA should be a little tired after their battle against Oregon. Might be a little hungover after failing to get the win. Oregon State is playing good basketball right now. Hopefully it continues and I'll take the points no matter how many I receive.

Will fill in the #'s tomorrow when I play them. Doubt I'll be playing any other games as I like the six I have. Maybe one more play to make it an odd 7 as I like to play an odd # of games.

Like your plays and always appreciate your insight. Have to go against you on your KSate pick. They are a good home team, but OU has had all weak to prepare for this one.

Pokiedot, Like your OSU pick also. Okie State has to prove what they are made of and this is a bigger game to them than UT. Get all the points you can and hammer it!!!

Missouri laying 7 over Colorado VERY BIG. . . Missouri has covered the last 7 games ATS over Colorado, winning each of those games. Buffs are great at home, different story on the road.

Nothing much I can say but its been a struggle. . . few unlucky breaks especially with the Missouri game. But I'll continue to roll with these:

Brown laying 9 over Columbia best bet for the night games
Cuse laying 1 over Pitt for a solid play
Will wait and see how these come in before deciding on Oregon State. . . trying to keep things in perspective and avoid turning today into a huge losing day as there's always tomorrow.

as a college b`ball lurker,i have to say you never had a shot with the cuse(although you probably capped it correctly)....to much money came in on the `cuse(+1 to -1.5).....and you can see that carmelo anthony got saddled with 4 personals in the 1st half....hard to cap the top guy getting 4 pf`s in the 1st half.....that`s why i seldom,if ever fool with college baskets(until tourney time)....i had a friend at u of md that played hoops years ago and even then he told me that it was shocking what was going on gambling wise...and i believe the refs are neck deep in some of the shenanigans....at home the top guy gets 4 fouls in the first half..this looks like one of those times.....be careful with the hoops......not saying it`s pervasive...but for sure,it`s there and it happens......bobby blue chip had an anti-consensus thread going last year in the ncaa tourney that seemed to be very successful...i`ll step in at tourney time(just like last year)......haven`t fooled with regular season in several years... .just throwing something in ....g.l. with your season...i know you are solid.....g.l.
