looking at the rockets-mavs game.dallas 58-24, 4th best record in the nba come in with a 9 game winning streak,while the rockets 51-31 winners of 7 in a row,2 hot baketball teams.head to head this season they split 4 games.in 1 of the rocket wins nowitzki and finley did not play.i am leaning toward the mavericks in this spot,they are 3rd in the league in offense 102.5 ppg.defense is not as bad as previous years 14th 96.8.the rockets 20th in offense 95.1 and defense 3rd 91ppg.. these 2 teams can give you a game in the 80s or in the 100s hard to predict.since avery johnson took over the mavs are 16-2.the rockets are the oldest team in the nba,they come in with only 3 players averaging double digits,mcgrady 25.7.plenty of offense comes from the mavs 6 guys averaging 10 or more ppg and 2 players averaging 9 ppg.dirk 26.1 and he also grabs 9 boards a game.nowitzki and mcgrady can offset each other.finley,stack,terry and howard who is becoming a solid player and can be a key to this game and series should be able to outscore ming(stiff),wesley and sura.the line is only 4.5,in my estimation it should be 6.5.the rockets 7 game winning streak makes it this low.mavs should take care of business in front of the home crowd.the rockets are known to go thru scoring droughts,if mcgrady dont have it going on then they are in trouble.
