DAMN, there's about a thousand peoples lined up outside the door. :scared

And I don't recognize any of em!

I do see "cinaacardysab" though; hope you're a newbie, not a hoss raciin newbie though. C'mon in, buddy. (BTW, how do ya pronounce your name?).

Well, I'm sure Hamster is out there someplace, so let's get started....

Looks like 4 playable races today. I'm only done with the first two, 5th and 6th. Like the 6th better.

Wace 6 at Philly
Got two longshots (well, one is 6-1, not that long). As usual, the thing to do is wheel one top/bot and play the other one straiight, either across the board or just Win/Place. I haven't decided yet. Thems are -

No. 7, Hitters Count (it is close to playoff season ya know) and the other is no. 9, Seventh Star.

Maybe you can eliminate one to save some moola or maybe just find one that beats em both. I'm going with both of them.

Holy poopies....JUST REALIZED thems the same nos. that I had in the big score (8th) yesterday. WOW! .... . twilight zone!

Hey, Hogman.... what's goin on with them Red Sox anyways? Thems changing their minds about sticking around for the playoffs? Really tanking too often lately. I follow Basebawl a little, rarely bet it though :00011

Hossies for today

Hossies for today

ALWAYS forget something :(

In the 5th, I got no. 2 marked, BUT the track has to be FAST for that one based on what I'm seeing. Backing it up with the 1... MAKE THE THAT THE 1A, not the regular one. Usually one part of the entry gets scratched and we/ME wants the 1A hoss.

That's it for now. Not sure if I'll be able to get back for the others (8th and 9th) .. .. running very late today.

Jimbo,

Can't say I've watched more than 9 innings total all season, and I've attended 5 games! I'd fade them and continue to, as well as double down on your Rays down there. Still trying to figure out my Patriots really. Not sure if it's scheme, cohesiveness, or just lack of good players. Probably the truth is somewhere in the middle, but I'll be finding value elsewhere in the pigskin (NCAA). Good luck with the plays today. Was at Sufferin' Downs not too long ago...made your track yesterday seem like a sell out :(

That's a lot better

That's a lot better

NOW, we're TALKING

Best pick today was NOT getting back here to post a couple mo LOSAHS.

WORSTEST pick I made today was deciding to put the plays in after I posted them, way before the races started.

Best I could do today was to muster up a 3rd place finish with that there baswball related hoss. Had some near misses but that goes with this sport.

Luckily, there were only 3 playable races though and I didn't post OR PLAY the possible 4th one.

Hamster - hope you may have hit something on your own today. I think those fast MJers, (MOT Mad Jackers... MUTHA jUMPERS) are gonna be back on Sat. Thems not for me. Be careful with them things.. usually those races are (1) too competitive and (2)have new, unfamiliar connections (jocks, owners, trainers), and (3) may be running on the Philly track for the first time after doing some traveling. Gotta admit though - you sho had them figured in the Belmont. 0074

Hogman - looks like you you know the baseballers. I like parlays (up to 4 teams MAX) and I like 5Dimes cause their parlay rules are very liberal compared to other places. I can't tellya how many times a freakin basebawler would ruin my, otherwise winning parlay, with college FBers and maybe a tennis play or two. Looks to me like the Red Sox pitchers are getting arm weary.
Too bad we got on this subject so late in the season, but there are TWO kinda plays that have clicked for me (and they clicked a LOT even without me too)... .. playing Dodger and (not as much) Oakland games UNDER. Know something.. those plays go for recent YEARS as well.

Just terrible what's going with racing. I (ONLY) watched some races this past weekend online at Philly. On SUNDAY (may have been Sat.).. the weekend, nice day weather-wise. Philly did a salute to the armed forces. There were 12 soldiers, with their respective service flags, marching in the winner's circle. There were LESS than 12 fans watching from the guardrail SICKening. Do check out the video I mentioned below .. the GOOD ole days at the tracks when people knew a little more about having a good time and fun than they do today.

Deliman - I SURE am glad my picks never made it here today for ya. We gotta get on the same track again. Now that this place is starting to work.. I'll try to get my HANDICAPPED picks on way BEFORE the races start. We only need some new members and this place may Rock again. The picks usually work out a lot better after I actually see the horses on the track before the races but, lately those BIG UNS I caught were just from handicapping. I put a lot of time into handicapping too even though it doesn't look like it the way I postem. Some days there's no plays and that means no posts. Sorry I'm not a very reliable poster, but you'll very rarely find me here early mornings till mid afternoos. IF you know you're gonna make an OTB trip, best to post that fact the day before.. MAYBE I'll see it and I can get something up here forya early in the morning. Like VERY early, I'm a real nite owl. Hopefully, they may help ya figure what you intended to play.... NEVA go off YOUR best picks. Another tip - I usually do better with them cheap $5-7.5K claiming races. And.. IF another "this one's a 10, gang" ever comes around again.. do play it. NOT heavy, just the same amount every time I post one.

MJ horsie players:
Did ya see the movie "Seabisquit". We went to see it and IMO that movie sucked (to put it mildly). Wanna see the REAL story, REAL horses, REAL people? No movie EFFECTS that just muddled the whole thing with acting hosses and peoples. Check out ...

www.pbs.org

it's the REAL thing.

Pick video no. 1, it's right there on the opening page on the left. Don't wait too long to do it cause they take them off pretty quicklike.

We gotta get one of them BIG MJs after the weekend.

Enjoy.
