Lets Not Forget Duke

So, how on earth does Duke get a 6-seed? This means that, at worst, they are considered having the 24th best season in the nation.

They finish .500 in their conference...tied for 6th and lose in the first round to the 10th team in the conference.

At best, they should be in the 8/9 game and have to play a 1-seed to make it to sweet 16.

If clock doesn't fuk up for Clemson game, Duke isn't in big dance.

Saw the 6th seed and couldn't believe it. I thought at best an 8th. Got that high because of the Duke name. :shrug:

who cares? don't complain, how about you handicap the game with VCU and offer some constructive discussion? they're 6 or 7 point favorites. good luck.

if they aren't good (which they are) they will lose eventually.

will anyone remember the 2007 duke team as a 6th ranked team in the tourney. no.

I don't have lines up yet.

If its 6-7, I'm taking VCU and all those points. They have athletic guards that will force turnovers and score in transition.

Not sure I'd take the ML but maybe. Should be a tough game for Duke.

I'm not complaining about the status of them being a 6-seed.

I'm just saying that anything can happen in the tourney and its a lot easier to get to final 4 as a 6-seed than as an 8/9 seed.

I don't like seeing them get the advantage for having a very mediocre season.
