i was running through the games last night (always like to look at the games themselves without the lines first) and this one caught my eye - Tigers off of what seemed like an emotional win and Vols off of another disappointing loss to UF - in situations like this I tend to favor the team coming off of a loss

then I saw the line and initial thought there was that the number looked low if anything

I know we have a lot of folks from Tennessee around here and think we have a few from Mizzou so hoping to get some thoughts/angles/analysis for this one - as for my thoughts:

- not a huge fan of either coach but would favor Martin slightly over Haith
- UT's road record leaves a bit to be desired but of their 5 losses on the road 3 of them were to UF, UK and Wichita St
- already mentioned but quick turnaround for Tigers after emotional win against Arky on Thursday and Vols should be hungry after loss to UF on Tuesday

obviously leaning UT but would love to get a bit of dialogue going

as always, good luck - LA Burns

I liked the over in first half.
Ark/Missouri sure was a track meet.

Mizzou typically plays very close games at home. They don't just crush other teams. As such, I think the best play is to tease TN in a 5 pt teaser, which is what I have done. I think it will be close, could go either way, but I think it's safer to tease TN.

It looks like a good spot for the Vols provided they've gotten over their loss to the Gators; especially Mizzu might be a little drained with win over Arkansas. Most losses will fire a good team up but some can be devastating and take more than one game to get over. Interesting to see how Vols will react.
