Line is Nebraska by 9, I think its going to be a woodshed ass kicking by Nebraska with revenge on their mind and a down Texas team this year, I think the line is about right and goes to ten really quick...

thoughts?

I have to disagree, I think Texas will contain Martinez enough to force him to throw each and every down and if that's the case I think Texas could win outright...

Everything and I mean everything leans towards this being a Neb blowout. So, why does the little voice in my head tell me UT is the play?

because Texas isnt as bad as they have showed this year imo.... They have a ton of talent especially on defense...

do you think the rest of the conference is happy about the corn shuckers leaving the BIG 12?

Really think Nebraska gets the Longhorns best here, should be a good enough effort to keep it within the spread........

just my two cents worth

I have seen nothing from UT that tells me they have a prayer in this one. Their season is in the shitter, their young QB is probably feeling a little pressure (not going to help), and Nebraska feels like world beaters. I think Nebraska wins in a rout.

Agree, Texas has defensive speed to slow Martinez down, do need to score some tho. Shoe is on other foot this year.

I've been waiting for a play on this game for quite some time. It's not on either side but the under! Texas will struggle and I mean struggle to move the ball and I really believe they will make it hard on Nebraska as well.

I follow Texas very closely and I bleed orange. I give Texas no chance in this game. This is Nebraska's Super Bowl, and I think they win this game easily. I'll be on Nebraska minus the points.

Neb wants this one bad--Texas has some athletes but I think this year Neb has the speed. Yep Texas needs to contain TMart-nobody has yet. Neb def a ways scors a couple TD's-could be the same here.. Total still looking-gl

Yeah, Texas may stop Martinez for awhile, but if your backing Texas then you need to ask yourself how will the Horns score? Nebraska is by far the best defense that Texas has faced all year and with no running game it will be tough for Gilbert to pass on perhaps the best secondary in the country. This might be a game to wait until halftime and play Nebraska if the Horns have had their defense on the field for large portions of the first half.

Still struggling with this game. SDSt was able to keep T-Magic in check. Was it just a down game? Probably. This may be a case where Nebraska goes all out and plays too careless because they will try to do too much in a revenge game.

However, revenge may be what keeps them focused and they destroy a bad UT team. I keep going back and forth on this one. May have to just leave this one alone.

hedgepig: You are right on in this game. The Corn Huskers will do a old fashioned corn hole job on the shorthorns this week. They have had all year to think about the 1 second that Mack got back in the Championship game. Have you gave any thought about the Ok St & Tech game. Believe that the over 69 will be a solid play this week.
later,
jim

TX will somehow stay close in this one....defense will keep them close along with some special teams plays or Nebraska miscues. If Martinez is forced to throw more than run Nebraska will have issues....only problem having a mobile QB is when the running game is forced out of the game plan. TX last two games has this line too inflated. Nebraska wins 31-27.
