First off, thanks to everyone for the kind words.......

I was out watching the game last night and did not get a chance to look at the line when it opened at Pinn-

Did the line open at -187?? Can anyone please confirm??

I see it is at -165 right now.....

I expect the line to keep dropping, everyone thinks that there is free money out there to be had on the Wild. Yes, we all know that the Nucks looked like Shit the last two games but lets think about this one.

I am not sure If I am going to play it, if I do for very small.....

EVERYONE SHOULD be on the Wild based on what we have seen in G5 AND G6- what does that tell you- If that line keeps dropping steadily through out the day I will probably play the Nucks-

Any thoughts??? Hockey is a strange sport:nono:

My gut says to just stay away and whatever I was gonna wager on this one....add it to the Ottawa series wager :D

With everyone on the Wild tonight, seems like a good spot to come with the Canucks, but then again it is tough to bet on a -160 favourite who has been outscored the past two games 12-3 and has been outplayed throughout the entire series.

HISTORY IN THE MAKING??????

HISTORY IN THE MAKING??????

Just heard on local sports radio that NO ONE has ever won Back-to-Back Game 7's ON THE ROAD. Talk about ALL the pressure on the Nucks:eek:

I wouldn't lay two cents on Vancouver tonight. The Wild at plus 160 is yet another steal. This is a team of destiny and they have the Nucks on their heels. Cloutier has been horrible -- Rollie just the opposite. Love the Wild here and if they win, I'll be placing a large wager on them to beat the Ducks next series. Wild should have closed this series out at 4-1. GM Place will be awfully quiet tonight.

FWIW, JMHO, I don't think it's a steal at +160. There is definite value in that line, but do you dare go against history? They could be +400, but you won't get a cent if they lose. That being said, Minny definitely has been the better team in this series, and Cloutier has looked terrible. They could have won this series 5-1 if it's a 9 game series. But did they lose their golden opportunity to move on?? Will they run outta gas?? 2 straight series down 3-1 and trying to win another Game 7 on the road......it has NEVER been done before, supposedly. This is definitely a game where you put pocket change on just for fun, if you want to wager on it.

Team of destiny? I think the Quacks and Giggy would have something to say about that, don't you??:D. I think taking 8 games out of 10 from Detroit and Dallas is quite an accomplishment.

BTW, I LOVE spits idea;) :D

BTW, so far I'm seeing about 70% concensus on the Over, and about 60% on Minny.

Hopefully, cooz will put up his concensus report later today, as well.

I saw it last nite at -175, but that was about 2am central time.

The line is still slowly dropping. I bet we're gonna see some interesting line movements minutes before the game, most likely the late money will be on the Nucks:shrug:

maybe i am watching different games than others are. the wild team speed is just to much- the goaltending is very suspect- minnesota is controlling center ice and are getting alot of quality shots on a goalie that needs alot of d in front of him- maybe van wins but to do so minny will have to play conservative and play poorly- minnys coaches after game 4 have cut them loose- everybody is pushing and using there speed- i just do not see minny slowing down- minny will get 3-5 goals tonight- with how solid the goaltending is i thing van loses 5-3.

Chenker... i'm not sure what line Pinnacle opened with.... I put the post up of Van -187 as that was the first line I saw and it was from 5 dimes.... Olympic opened at -180 I believe.....

Now I am even more shocked that you guys don't really like Minny at +160 in this spot???
I figured you would be all over it......

Anyways I really hope the Canucks can put it together and Knock off the Wild....

Korny- as Dubber said it looks way too easy to me- Kind of like Sactown against the Mavs:p

If the Nucks line gets in the 50's I will be ready to play it:cool:

MINNY BEAT A BETTER GOALTENDER IN THE EXACT SAME SITUATION IN ROUND 1....EVERYTHING THAT IS BEING SAID ABOUT THIER CHANCES COULD HAVE BEEN SAID ROUND 1..EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THIS IS THE SECOND SERIES IN A ROW THEY ARE IN THIS POSITION...

IF HISTORY AND ANGLES ARE AGAINST MINNY THEN THIS LINE DOES NOT LOOK SUSPICIOUS AT ALL...IN OTHER WORDS IF THEY WOULD BE THE FIRST TEAM IN HISTORY OR ONE OF TWO TO ACCOMPLISH THE FEAT THEY ARE TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH TONIGHT THEN OF COURSE THIS LINE IS GOING TO REFLECT THE "ODDS" OF THAT HAPPENING...I REALLY DONT THINK THIS LINE IS A "GIFT" OR STRANGE...IT REFLECTS THE "ODDS' OF THIS TEAM ACCOMPLISHING SOMETHING THAT LOOKS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO DO THROUGHOUT NHL HISTORY...

THAT BEING SAID....THIS IS SIMPLY A ONE GAME SERIES NOW...AS I STATED YESTERDAY ...WEDS GAME WOULD TELL US WHERE CLOUTIER IS MENTALLY...HE LOOKED GOOD UNTIL THE THIRD...A SIMILAR LAPSE IN THE PRIOR GAME COST VANC THAT GAME AS WELL...MINNY HAS TO BE THE MORE CONFIDENT MENTAL TEAM RIGHT NOW..WINNING TWO IN A ROW IN CONVINCING FASHION WILL DO THAT FOR A TEAM...THIER POWER PLAY IS ON FIRE AND IS BETTER ON THE ROAD THAN AT HOME...AGAIN THIS IS A SITUATION THAT I WOULD BE WARY OF PLAYING AGAINST MINNY...

IM NOT SURE WHAT IM DOING AS OF YET...BUT IF THEY COULD DO IT AGAINST COLORADO WITH ROY IN GAME 7 AT HOME ...THEY SURE AS HELL CAN DO IT AGINST CLOUTIER IN A GAME 7

As a Laker fan, all I can say is, after the Lakers are swept by SA in 4, and the Sac/Dal series is over, is when I'm done watching the NBA playoffs this yr. This Sac/Dal series is gonna be FUN to watch.
