Although this is a repeat, I can certainly vouch for the at least 80% survival rate. My daughter's beast friend at the time (when they were 3) was diagnosed with Leukemia. The chemo made her sick for a while and made her hair fall out, but after a while she was as back to normal as someone could be. The most remarkable thing though was the innocence that little kids have. For the most part she thought she was just sick, not aware of the 20% hanging over her. And when they played together it was like the disease or baldness was not even there. Isnt it nice not to judge people by what they look like.
