credibility in this game = $$.....and to make $$ you better show me a record with 53% winners.....anything else is garbage......
that is what we strive for.....some are afraid of trying for whatever reason of posting a record.....and yes i say afriad.....it isn't that hard to post a record and i think if you post a lot, you should definitely post a record if you are truly interested in helping folks....otherwise, it just looks like a crapshoot....who cares if you go 45%?.....at least you have the balls to try....thats what i say anyway......
sht i have been posting my big 12 record in NCAA football and basketball the last two years....last year hovered right around 50% in both sports....spent much of the time under .500.....showed a good profit margin in NCAA Big 12 football this year and am doing the same in hoops this year....learning as i go.....finding a nitch where i can contribute....don't have time to handicap all games.....don't have time to read 200 newspapers and team reports.....
guys who get on here and post 10 team parlays from all parts of the country -- is that helping anyone???? heck no!!! or who post plays from all over with a trend behind them when you can find 5 trends that point the opposite way??? hell no!!!
find your nitch and go from there.....thats what i say.....this board is moving in the right direction and is quickly becoming capable of producing "steam" in a couple years with the expertise shown on here....lots of sharp action especially coming to life from many people.....and lots of regional sharp action at that.....
i am excited about the prospects of what may becoming....got a good core who just might stick things out......ride it and post and win.....
not too hard to find the sharp players on here either....most of them post their records.....some do not....i wish everyone would and we would get much better long term prognosis.....probably would be even too good.....which is definitely one possible outcome....
but PRO190 raises some very good points....points that are well worth taking.....and everyone should consider looking at and evaluating what he/she is exactly trying to do......and how you can contribute.....
anyways, that is my 10 cents.....hope people listen a little cuz i see great potential in a lot of people here.....
