why the double standard?......we had more than "one' clinton appointee/crony indicted and convicted....

and some of them he pardoned.....

But it's instructive that Dan Wilson's (truthful and accurate-shocker!) report caused all this.

Chad aligns the Iraq thing and this trial together, and in some oblique ways that's correct.

But from a strictly legal standpoint, this is silly.

Weasel, I can assure you that I am NOT smarter than I let on. You pretty much get all I "got," most of the time. Thanks to Al Gore and the Internet(s), I let on pretty smart at times.

I realize that this thread has wriggled away from the point, or at least the point I was trying to make. This remains, in my mind, an important day for judging this administration.

Bill Clinton? Guilty. Sandy Berger? Guilty.

This, too, is guilt. No reason to compare, unless you are trying to muddle this story. And in my judgment, there will be more to come down the road this administration has led us. These are bad guys, in my mind, and I am not really one for conspiracy theories in most cases. A top administration official - right at the very top, inside the policy-making group, is convicted of obstruction of justice and perjury. Whether he is the guy that deserves to be held accountable or not FROM this group, is not the issue. He is accountable, and what happened is bad for the country. Again.

What I thought he said, little scooter was a sympathetic figure, he was the fall guy, but he was copable, He did say he thought Rove should have been sitting next to him. or words to that effect.
