liberal supremes vote to take private property

Think about all the greedy local governments licking their chops at the potential in kickbacks in exchange for letting a big developer have it's with way with someone's private property.

At least the rules of eminent domain were always a protection for citizens. This opens the door for all kinds of crap. I can't believe it.

I want to hear our top politicians' takes on this. My guess is they'll stay somewhat quiet. Basically, it's a favorable decision for the wealthy, regardless of party or position - kinda like illegal immigration.

They always talk about class warfare on the horizon - well this might well be a powerful opening salvo.

they say the medical marijuana ruling was overturned because of potential abuses......are they kidding?.....the stem cell issue...medical marijuana....c`mon...

now the supremes are o for two...

maybe the supreme court should be purged....and we should start over...

you`ll have local developers scanning localities for prime real estate they can grab...developers that have greedy local politicians in their pockets....

this reminds me of the old westerns..the cattlemen vs the farmers.....

like shane...or more recently,silverado....

time and again in the old westerns, the central moral issue is property rights......who lawfully owns a piece of land?...the bad guys are land thieves: cattlemen, railroad companies, lawyers, or the powerful man behind the local government.....

ultimately, the issue is settled by guns – guns in the hands of good guys. ...

now it`s settled by greedy thieves in brooks brothers suits....and misfits and old hippies in black robes that are trying to change a society that`s been doing just fine without their radical/ socialist/ activist/ asses for better than 230 years...

Politicians could really care less about constitution.....they have corporate interests to take care of that they have been bribed to perform.....you live in a country where a policeman cannot legally accept a free donut yet politicians can be thrown thousands of dollars by corporate America......for favors down the road...

That's why the system will never change, only change will be the people who accept the corporate bribes...so when you go to vote next time jerk off for me too cuz I'll be somewhere else knowing that my vote doesn't count because the system won't be changed.

Corporate America bought the US a long time ago.

As far as the finger pointing and all the arguing along party lines about whether a republican or democrat voted this seizure crap into effect.....it won't matter who voted it in when they come to doze your house in to make way for another mall, it'll only matter that it was voted in.
