Lights out Lidge will never forget this day if the Astros dont win this thing.

Feel sorry for the guy.

Horrible pitch to Pujols and horrible walk to Edmonds.

Perhaps the biggest choke i have ever seen.

Cubs own the title for number one choke of all time. Also hold the number two spot. :mj07:

I am hoping for the Astros to win also, but I cannot see it happening now. For one thing, Lidge not only choked last night, he choked the night before, also! The Stros were really lucky not to give up any runs in the ninth in game 3!

Lidge completely fell apart after Ekstien got that lucky hit. He never was even close to the plate on Edmunds. He knew if he let him on base, he would have to face Pujols and he choked his guts out. Then he hung one up there for him! Did you see how far he hit that ball?

If it comes down to Lidge in the ninth again, I don't think he will be able to handle it. The Cards have his number, like the Yanks had BungYung Kim's a few years back.

Houston does not have enough offense to score enough to take an easy win. If the next two are close, I think the Card's win. The only way the Stros win is if they somehow manage to blow one open by getting 6 or 7 runs ahead.
