The x-rays on goalie Ben Bishop's injured left knee came back negative, according to head coach Jon Cooper.
Bishop was injured after falling awkwardly on his left leg. He was clearly in severe pain on the ice before the stretcher carried him off. Cooper added that there was no structural damage done to Bishop's knee and that they are "hoping for the best". The Lightning goaltender is considered day-to-day.
We should find out more about his status for Game 2 in the next couple of days.
