JJ REDICK is a playa!

Im watching this Duke game and he is again,unreal....he is hitting 3s from 4 ft behind the line....best pure shooter in college.

I know there are a lot of Duke bashers,but he is fun to watch....gotta give it to him.

Nickel- you obviously have no basketball knowledge...so what stoudamire faces in the pac10 is the same as the ACC? come on dude...pac-10 ball is nothing close to acc action.....all games are tough,hard-fought games in the ACC...wacth it sometime and see some real ball.

Your argument is pointless when you consider that only one third of Duke's games have been against ACC foes. The incompetency does not sit with me Irish. . . its not all Duke Duke Duke like it is with you.

As much as I like Arizona basketball, I don't think they have the best everything like you do with Duke. You have to open your eyes and take a look around. Reddick is clearly not the best pure shooter by the numbers especially when you consider 3 point FG shooting.

nickel...dont argue with people who NEVER see any Pac-10 games.

i watch acc games and to say there are better teams is correct, to say they play better defense is completely WRONG. The ACC is almost the same as the Pac-10 in that it is an offensive minded conference. I see duke-wake-unc-gt all socring at will vs anybody and everybody.

Salim is a much better shooter....54% from 3 pt line ....must be a typo!

Redick's shot selection is abhorrent. Despite his flurry at the end of the Wake game, his hoisting of 28 footers all game basically kept Duke out of it. In my eyes, everyone sucking his nuts because he notched the cover didn't overshadow the first 35 minutes during which he bascially sucked ass. He has been inconsistent from the outside the past two seasons. He has, however, improved his driving skills and overall game.

He's an above average player, overhyped, in my opinion. Of course, like Nickel, I probably don't know anything about basketball.

bombs, what you say is correct...he has gotten better at taking the ball to the hole but his outside shot is not as good as it was 2 years ago. his shot selection is horrible and his % show it.....but then again, it doesn't matter...he's the best shooter, dookie v and irish say so!

Not that I should have to prove my point further, but lets take a look at the numbers from both performers today. Since Irish got his rocks off on Reddick's shooting performance, lets see how it stacked up to Stoudamire (funny but the numbers from both are very similar to the overall numbers from a percentage standpoint):

Reddick:

7/21 FGs overall
6/15 3FG (both numbers WELL BELOW 50%)
26 points total


Stoudamire:

9/17 FGs overall
5/9 3FGs (both numbers over 50%)
26 points overall


Now sure Irish, you can say that GT is better than Stanford (which is a poor argument when we are talking about the best pure shooter) but the point is that you were soooo impressed with Reddick's performance today against GT given your post but the fact is that the better pure shooter was on the OTHER CBS game that you missed. Your loss. . . I'm sorry.
