Rule 13 seems to be right out of his playbook. I do like listening to him as entertainment though. It's also like getting a preview of the posts that will be on Madjacks over the next couple of days. :SIB

Some of the more clever guys get them out the next couple of hours.

Limbaugh is a racist, drug user, so anyone that actually follows this guy has to have their sanity questioned. The vile hate spewed from his three chins each day is alone enough for any so called christian to turn off the dial if they believe in the good book.

Yep interviewer should have asked her and you why he waited till 911--but that would be objected wouldn't it. OOps almost forgot--GW planned 911 -- so he could go to war. :)

Has Acorn cut back since election Scott--or are you still employed?

I still believe that the reason that George W went to war with Iraq is because Saddam tried to kill his daddy in Kuwait with a car bomb.

payback was on his mind as soon as he got in

I still have the same job and made more money that I did the previous year.

how about you

"the bunker"
i think what we`re experiencing here is the first shot across the bow in the dems` efforts to bring back the "fairness doctrine"....

that amazes me....you have fox news and talk radio that tilt conservative...and every other media outlet tilting liberal...

but that doesn`t seem to be good enough....they want to force free talk radio into carrying liberal talk radio, which is a proven failure(see air america)......

dem congress-critrters understand this....so they figure that if they can basically quash conservative speech by forcing talk radio to "carry"(like an albatross)liberal talk radio, station mangers will eventually lose money(`cause that`s what liberal talk radio does) and to stay afloat they`ll abandon the talk radio format altogether to stay in business....

pretty shrewd...

th democrat idea of "freedom"(crush every opposing voice) is a strange concept indeed....

socialism AND marxism...

Of course, the ratings have nothing to do with who owns the station, what programming they choose to put on the station, how many stations a business can own in a single market, what major conglomerate owns how many stations - in how many markets - with the same shows put on in those markets, which of course produces the numbers, etc., etc., etc.

It has nothing to do with groups like the FCC who have for a few years now been lead by known conservative entities and people who have opened the door for this kind of ownership and radio control of markets and major stations, etc.

Radio is a bit of a different egg when it comes to media assessment. It can easily be controlled and dominated by a message and theme, and it's now easier than ever thanks to conservative efforts of the past few years. Considering that the radio airwaves are supposedly public interest and free to listen to, some guidance and oversight should be in place, IMO, to prevent one theme dominating another. It's not like newspapers, who are completely at the mercy of subscribers, which are the only real measure of success.

Jack Cafferty says Barack Obama learned a few things during his first days in office.

NEW YORK (CNN) -- I wonder if President Obama is having second thoughts.

Picking a fight with that corpulent Oxycontin aficionado of right wing talk radio, Rush Limbaugh, will mobilize a bunch more on the conservative right and begin to bring those approval ratings down from 83 percent, where they were before you actually started working as the president, to a more mortal 68 percent in the Gallup Poll taken on those first three days in office.

Sour grapes Limbaugh seems to be having trouble coming to terms with the fact that all the stuff he embraced so fervently during the eight years of the Bush nightmare got swept out the door in November. Limbaugh disagrees with Obama's policies and fears he could take the country in the direction of socialism.:mj07:

Fair enough -- but to come right out and say "I want him to fail," exposes Limbaugh for the petulant, shallow gasbag that he is.:142smilie

In December, Colin Powell, who was himself a member of the Bush administration who switched parties and supported Obama, suggested that people need to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh. Does he really add anything to the national dialogue by wishing failure on our newly inaugurated president?

Let me help you there, the answer is no. And in case Limbaugh hasn't noticed, our country is failing thanks to the misguided policies of the right-wing nuts that have called the shots for the last eight years.:sadwave:

Still, it's probably not a good idea for the president to respond to Limbaugh by name and inflate the talk show host's air of self-importance.

Remember how much fun it was when you won the Iowa caucus?
