I went to school there. It's a pretty cool college town, you'll definitely want to catch the downtown area. Some of my favorite bars there were The Watering Hole, Zoo Bar (live jazz music), Duffy's Tavern, and Cliffs Lounge. A few of my favorite restaurants were Lazlo's Brewery and Grill, Billy's, Fireworks, etc.

Other cool things to do are check out the college (it's very cool), the stadium is fantastic (GO HUSKERS!), the Nebraska State Capital, Sunken Gardens, and the Museum of Speed.
