Lindys...............
V tech number 5
Alabama number 7

Both are accurate in my eyes....First 4 then all the rest....

Lindys TOP TEN
Receivers: Alabama 10
D Line: Alabama 4
V tech 8
Linebackers: Alabama 1
D backs: Alabama 4
V tech 5

Another reason why Bama wins.....
If they had specail teams (even though V tech is awesome at it, believe bama would rival that...

V tech not in the top 15 in recruiting the last 4 years.....
OUCH....wow he coaches up his players, or does he play in a weak confrence :violin:

"You cannot in clear reason expect a team to simply plug in three guys in the place of one all-american and two all sec performers at a position that requires knowing what the others on that unit are going to do like they know their own brother"

Nick sabin.... And maybe FL will be the only team to score that many points against this D fense. Hey I am a tiger but hate to admit this same defenive team from last year with new 5 star back ups (Brandon moore, DJ fluker (they say number 1 pick in NFL as a Junior, better than Andre at this point), Barret Jones and Tyler Love) they would start and dominate at any school, might come out rusty though, they will win the V tech game....

When is the last time other than G tech has a ACC team beat a good SEC team they are out of their league....
Gald to get everyone fired up FOOTball right around the courner....

AGREE with money pants. I know the Alabama team from top to bottom its my money maker....
THEY might not be favored but they will WIN...
AGAIN 4-5 top 32 players in America are on BAMA defense with the Defensive genus............
Not even counting the 2 years in a row of number 1 recruiting classes............
Only question is QB, think Sabin gets his title next year..........

Man, are you and I ever butting heads. Despite their favorable schedule (No UGA or FLA),
I have Bama losing 3 or 4 games this season:scared Good luck.

Humidity is ramping up here now. Sweating bullets with temps in high 80's and low 90's. Humidity will intensify through June and July/August are tough to handle. I would hate to be a door-to-door Bible salesman in New Orleans during the summer.

I used to have disdain for Bama, but less now that I have a close friend in a key staff position there. My feelings for Saban are the same as they have been. Good coach. Huge ego. Tough to get along with. Good coach. I would take him over Les Miles any day.

My concerns with Bama start on the OL and end at QB. It appears to me that the two toughest positions to replace in college football are QB and C. The D will be very good.

Given the ease of this schedule (3 cupcakes + SEC east games vs. Tenn, SC and Kentucky!!!!), I would expect the season win total at 9.5 and would play under that number.

Here's why: I give Bama no better than a 50% chance in these games:

VT
Miss
LSU

Depending on how things go early, Vols may catch Bama at the right time. Tenn will come in off of a bye, and Bama will be playing their 8th consecutive game to start the season with their a bye week on deck.

Miss St, Auburn and Ole Miss(not sure on Ole Miss) have a bye leading up their game with Bama. Also, revenge factors into at least 3 games this season. Throw in Saban's history of losing insignificant games on a near annual basis (except last season and the LSU Nat'l title season in '04), and I come up with 3+ losses.

GL this season:weed:
