What the hell is going on in the KU game?

It started at 5.5, went down to 3.5... and has gone back up to 5 in the last 8 hours or so.

I can't figure this out for the life of me... has there been some news that I have missed? :shrug:

wouldnt have been a huge surprise to see toledo open as a 7 point chalk. i think opening line was driven down because 2-0 big12 team was getting points from 0-2 mac team. line starting to settle back at where it probably should be. toledo prob the most well-balanced team in the mac. total is what should be going up imo.

This is nuts... you can get KU at +5 for -102 at Pinny right now.

Crazy line movement...

Is this just squares looking for action coupled with services that have pushed this line by almost 2 points in less than 10 hours?

Or are the sharps putting in a strong input?

This has me kind of spooked. I am thinking about selling some of my action back on this one... Nothing has disuaded me from my original analysis of the game... but line movement like this before kickoff is rarely good news, in my experiance...

I think anyone playiong this game is making a mistake and needs to look in the mirror. This game is for action junkies and homers only. Toledo aint much, but nobody should be backing Kansas on the road either.

I think you know I'm not a homer. My game of the year in college basketball was playing Texas against KU in Austin.

I honestly think/thought that I am/was on the right side of this one, or there would be no reason to put what meager money I have outside of paying for college/lodging on it.

Now, I might be wrong, and I could lose money. But I'm certainly not doing it because I have an insatiable need to have money on this game, or a sick obsession with betting on my University. I'm gonna sit through this one regardless of cash implications... so I really don't think what you said is fair.

By definition any game any of us dont play we didnt think was worth a wager. But maybe you are playing every game on the card.

I just checked the lines and they are at -4.5 at most places, Anybody have a clue as to what is going on with it?

The line is now back to 5...

So in review.. opens at 5.5, goes down to 3.5 as the week goes on.

Goes from 3.5 to 5.5 on GAME DAY. Then falls back to 5.

Weird, weird line movement. There must be a lot of people with money who have an opinion on it...

Well the total got drilled late. Went to 50' then dropped to 49 under real quick. This dont look good for the over guys.
