my early leans

Toledo+10
With how bad BGSU looked against Fresno's counterpart last week, it makes you think twice about playing the Rockets. I think the Rockets have a more rounded offense then BGSU although I feel Frsno is a better team then Boise.

Miami-Cinc
Pass, Bearcats stink and Miami has been erratic on offense but lean Redhawks.

AF-CSU
Rams or pass

Pitt-Rut
Ughh what a rotten game is Pitt really this bad?

ILL-Iowa
The Hawks are due to erupt

Ind-Wisc
Is this a flat spot for Wisky?

Cuse-FSU
Two erratic offenses, but does anyone think Cuse will move the ball at all on FSU?

Mich-MSU
This sure is not your daddy's Wolverine teams from the past. Spartans have look like world beaters with Stanton.

Col-OKIE ST
Lean Buffs here although back to back roadies and off line problems linger but OKIE ST offense is putrid.

UVA-Mary
I can't win on the Terps or anyone in the ACC for that matter.

Clem-Wake
If Bowden loses outright here he should be fired, Deacs are bad on both sides of the ball.

VT-WVU
Both defenses have looked stellar so far and it seems like alot of points to be laying on the road.

ISU-NEB
Has Nebraska's offense scored a TD this year on a Division 1A opponent? Lean ISU here.

Bay-AM
Pass

Ball St-BC
Pass, has the makings of a backdoor

Navy-Duke
Lean Duke here, Navy in a rebuilding mode and one of the rare teams Duke will play that has the level of athletes they have.

Kent-EMU
Surprised the line is this low, EMU has a ton of offensive firepower whereas Kent has struggled to find a identity for their O.

FLA-Bama
Lean Bama, good statement game for Shula and Tide to show they have turned the corner and belong in the upper echelon of teams.

UNLV-WYO
Pass

UCONN-Army
Lean Army

Minn-PSU
Tough game, I think this may be Gophers first road game and for sure the best defense they have saw this year.

Tex-Mizzou
Many hacks have circled this game as the game that could bite the Longhorns in the ass, but you have to wonder since New Mex was able to win in Columbia.

Utah-UNC
Lean Heels, Utah doesn't have the same offensive firepower as they did last year and I think Bunting is a very underrated coach.

USC-ASU
USC's offense is the best I have seen in a few years but I would think that they will get a better test from ASU then they did from Oreg.

Wash-UCLA
Huskies actually played ND even in my book, but I doubt if they have the firepower to prevent a rout in this one.

Zona-Cal
Pass Cal doesn't impress me and I feel they are overrated but Zona's offense is also a question on the road.

Temple-BGSU
I will guarantee that BGSU will at least score 45 in this one but the question is how many will their porous defense allow the Owls to score to set up a backdoor.

WSU-OSU
OSU's defense sucks but WSU has played a very weak ledger up to this point. I think WSU is by far the better team here!

SMU-Marsh
Herd has to be wondering why they left the MAC for USA after getting beat outright by UCF. Pass here both teams have limited offensive skills, but the line does seem a tad low.

UTST-ID
Pass, ugly game

Smiss-ECU
Pass, SMiss the better team but they tend to struggle on the road.

CMU-AKR
Should be an exciting game with alot of offense and I would tend to favor the dog here.

Nev-Sj
Pass..both teams have no defense

SFLA-MIA
Pass

ND-Pur
Lean ND although back to back roadies can be tough

Rice-UAB
Rice is terrible and UAB may be the class of Conf USA, lean UAB

Hous-Tulsa
Leans to the home team

Kan-TexTech
Hard to gage TT since they have played DIV1AA teams, lean Hawks

KSU-OK
Two inept offenses IMO...Would lean to the home team

NMXST-LTECH
LATECH or pass

SC-AUB
Tough line pass

UTEP_MEm
Memp could be deflated after OT loss and UTEP has had some off time to get ready for this game

BYU_SDSU
BYU is the better team here

Boise-HAW
Line seems low

FL ATL-LOU
I will guarantee that Lou wins here outright as they should be able to name the score

ARKST-Monroe
ARKST has perhaps the best offense in the Sunbelt and Monroes offense is good so I lean over 50

MTSU-Vandy
Lean MTSU since Vandy usually doesn't bury teams

UCF-LOU LAF
Would anyone actually pay to go watch these teams play? Pass!

washington st. easily over oregon st. / beavers committed 6 turnovers. no discipline!
ucla over washington, bruins will get 50 on them so will look at over. domers got 560 yards on them on road and darius walker ran right through them... maurice drew will get another big game on them (300 yards l.y.).
uab to cover -18 vs. rice. i will go against owls all season. not a physical team or deep... these will be big plays for me!

SUSPENSIONS AND INJURIES OF NOTE - Kent St QB Michael Machen, who had thrown for 282 yds vs OU, injured his knee and backup John Brown hit 15 of 19 for 106 yards...

Arkansas St has, perhaps, the most underrated RB in the country in Antonio Warren and he rushed for 143 yds on 8 carries in the 1H vs Florida Int??l but unfortunately was inj??d and missed the 2H so make sure you check on his status. Shermar Bracey rushed for 105 yds on 9 carries in his place as ASU dominated FIU 66-24...

Kansas St RB Thomas Clayton was leading the NCAA in rushing but did not play last week after an arrest. True frosh Parrish Fisher rushed for 169 yds in his place and the game was dominated by K-St as they had a 658-90 yd edge and led 54-0 before N Texas drove 71 yds for a garbage TD with 2:06 left...

Auburn QB Brandon Cox came down with a stomach virus prior to their game vs #1 ranked IAA team W Kentucky and rFr Blake Field (PS#103) hit 13 of 22 for 200 yds. Auburn led 24-0 at the half holding the Hilltoppers to just 98 yds total offense...

Virginia lost perhaps the best LT in college ball in D??Brickshaw Ferguson to injury in the 1Q vs Duke and he did not return. Make sure you call one of our Full Service Lines (Button #5) to find out if he??ll be available this week...

Georgia Tech QB Reggie Ball missed a good portion of last week??s practice and was obviously still not 100% in their game vs Virg Tech. VT, despite just 320 yds offense, piled up 51 points for an amazing 6.3 ypp. They got 25 and 29 yd int returns for TD??s within :26 and returned a blk??d FG for a TD...

Boston College faced Clemson without starting QB Quinton Porter and the last time that Matt Ryan started a game for BC was their infamous home loss to Syracuse which cost them a berth in the Fiesta Bowl. Now he had to get his first road start in Death Valley vs Clemson. Ryan had an outstanding game hitting 24 of 42 for 221 yards and led BC to 25 FD??s and 385 yds offense scoring on their opening 2 poss and being int??d in the EZ on their 3rd...

Colorado QB Joel Klatt was bothered by a foot injury all day but still hit 25 of 41 passes for 228 yds vs a tough Miami D. Those stats are a little skewed in the fact that CU got 121 of its 331 yds in the 4Q with the game out of reach. CU did avoid a shutout with a 58 yd FG in the 4Q in a game played in 86?? heat and 70% humidity. Surprisingly UM allowed CU to wear white jerseys for the game...

S Carolina QB Blake Mitchell threw for 177 yds and 2 TD??s but left the field on crutches for x-rays which did not reveal any broken bones. Antonio Heffner hit 6 of 9 for 91 yds in his place.

mc,

i buy games on sunday night that i feel the line will move in my direction & i either keep it or try to middle it. these games i played already & will probably keep.....

iowa.....iowa is tough at home & illinois has given up 30 or more points to every opponent, except sjst.

maryland.....this is a home series & wasn't impressed with virginia on the road vs. syracue.

wyoming....have covered 9 straight.

bg.....i feel they will take out their frustrations on temple....big time.

uab...rice can't play defense.

tex. tech.......pre-season 'expert" said that kansas was going to be an improved team...haven't seen it yet & tt is a very strong home team.

fla. st......fsu remembers last year's game & will be fully focused. su's offense was recruited for the option, but this year they're using the west coast offense.....i think syracuse has a chance of being shut-out in this game.

any comments ?

Iowa
I watched them play last week and to put it bluntly they looked like crap against OSU but as you know OSU defense can be suffocating especially when they get a early lead and make their opponent a one dimension offense. One would have to think that if they are going to get health yon offense then this would be the game to do it as Illinois currently is ranked 111th in total defense and the Innini are prone to turnovers. The line has dropped to 17.5 and this one just has the feel as a game where Iowa should get ontrack and win comfortably.

Maryland
Terps are one team that has consistently burnt me over the last few years and I also like them in this spot as UVA has numerous injuries and has yet to play a team that I would consider a top 50 team.

Wyo
Usually I prefer to play the pokes as a road dog but and 17.5 seems slightly high but even if Steichen play Wyoming should not have trouble with the spread Off since they have seen it numerous times in the past.

BG
Commented on this game in someones thread about BG

UAB
Should roll over Rice, the over may be a solid play if we can count on Rice scoring 17 points.

TXTECH
Line is inflated now IMO so I would more than likely only play a dog at this inflated price. Hard to get a true feel for either team since both have played a Junior High ledger to this point. I will more than likely lay off this game unless the line swings sharply further to one side.

FSU
Cuse will be hard pressed to move the ball on the road against a solid defense but I was actually looking at the under here since Cuse IMO does have a solid defense.

Longhorn.

I was thinking the same thing that this game should be a low scoring game.

Anyone have a feel for the Colorado and OSU game? I know that OSU has been a beast at home and really owned Colorado in the past few meetings, but the Cowboys offense is brutal to watch and they had trouble moving the ball in the game I watched against Fla Atl. Another factor I like here is that you have a savvy vet coach in Barnett going up against a first year head coach but on the other hand the buffs are pretty banged up.
