what does everyone think the lines will be for these games? Here are my guesses:

OU -8 vs. LSU
Miami -3 vs. FSU
USC -4.5 vs. Michigan
Ohio St. -3 vs. KSU

No chance Ohio State is favored over Kansas State IMO

I also think that Michigan will get around 7 points but we'll see.

honestly, oklahoma laying anything in single-digts is major value.
that (8) could very well be the line, and if so -- will be on okie for sure.

miami/fsu line looks about right. i could see it being a little closer to pick though, given fsu's strong offensive play to close the season and this being an in-season revenger

ohio state line looks about right as well.

usc line will be higher though. probably 6 or 6.5. michigan moneyline looks good there

Will be interesting to see how many points the Sooners will give. . . I still don't see how you guys think Ohio State will be favored over Kansas State. . . in fact, I think it might be KSU giving 3 instead of Ohio State. . . hell, might be a pick but I don't see KSU being the dog.

USC vs Michigan is an exciting matchup but i am "very" confident USC will beat Michigan. I already know if USC is -4 or less I might bet my whole account on USC or might just take USC ML to be safe. I'll even post you the wager to prove it that I am not all talk. I am VERY confident USC will not only beat Michigan but by double digits. But i have not capped the game yet so not betting until i do so. Have to look at all the matchups. But from top of my head I think I might just bet 10k on USC (my whole account and winnings this year). Might have to use 3-4 sportsbooks though.

The best bet IMO would have been USC -3 over LSU. Michigan scares me a little more than LSU because I think Michigan has a better offense. USC only weakness on defense is DB's and Michigan could exploit that to an extent. But Navarre is not a mobile QB so that helps a lot. Perry is great RB but USC defense has faced at least 5 RB's the same quality as him in the last 2 years.

I also LOVE OU to beat LSU. OU should beat LSU pretty good. My only concern in that game is OU not having their defensive coordinator. Also how many pts would I have to lay? Maybe ML them too and play it extra safe. Hope neither line is over 7pts cause that would be too steep of a ML.

THIS IS MY OPINION AND NOT SAYING THIS IS A FACT! I will however show you the betting slip if you want proof if you think I am flaming.

FIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!!

here is my opinion

Oklahoma - 4

Kansas St -6

Fla St -3

USC - 6

I think this is where they start at give/or take a point.

Time will tell.

geno:

if oklahoma opens anywhere NEAR (-4), i wont even bet any of the lower tier bowl games. ill just wait a month and play oklahoma. i dont think that line will be anywhere near 4

i must, however, admit that the more i think about it, the more i can see kansas state opening as a chalk of a few points. i must concede that point

gman my number are not meant to disrespect anyone else's post in this thread I simply moved power ratings based on my guy feel from the recent games and this is where they landed

I may have devalued Oklahoma's power too much or increased LSU's too much.

But beating the Georgia team a second time & losing in there Championship game by what I consider being exposed by a great defense is the reason why I put it there.

I would be careful betting on Ok, with that atmosphere LSU could beat any team quite easily. Many teams claim they have the "craziest" fans, but LSU's fans are truly insane. I hate lsu but their fans are rude, trashy, and most of all LOUD, and with the game in the superdome don't be suprised to see White get very consfused. Remeber the 93' sugarbowl, Miami was heavily favored but 90% of the fans were from Alabama. Their heisman qb didn't stand a chance. I'm not saying you or anyone should bet on LSU but I sure wouldn't put a big wager on OK spread or ML.

Perry is great RB but USC defense has faced at least 5 RB's the same quality as him in the last 2 years

Scott.....care to elaborate?? I have a hard time thinking of two many good backs out of the Pac 10 the last few years.......

Arizona ......none
Arizona State.....none
Cal......none
Stanford.......none
Ucla.......none
Oregon........Morris.....IMO not as good as perry.
oregon State............Jackson....but also IMO not as good as perry
Washington........none
Washington State.......none

And remember last year Iowa didnt have what you would call a great back either......Russel is ok but not near as good as Perry.

Remember last year USC faced the toughest schedule in nation and played great teams with great RB's. The DL that played last year is all back this year and will all be back next year. PRETTY SCARY. Last year USC did not allow a 100 yard rusher all year and this year I think USC only has allowed 1 100yard rusher this year (CAL).

#1) AU last year and this year. USC faced 2 "great" RB's on that team twice. 2 STUDS!

#2) CO had CHRIS BROWN who was STUD!

#3) KANSAS ST. who had SPROLES who should be a HEISMAN CANDIDATE THIS YEAR! STUD!

#4) Oregon St. twice faced Steve Jackson, He is STUD, def. the best RB out west and i would take him over Perry. Trust me, he is VERY VERY good. You might not know him well cuz he plays out west and for OSU. He will get drafted 1st round and i bet higher than Perry.

#5) Oregon last year Onterrio Smith who is playing in NFL right now. Left early i think and got drafted NFL.

#6) ND this year with Jones, he is VERY talented back running behind suspect OL.

#7) IOWA RB is pretty damn good too i think. Not a STUD but damn good RB.

I named 6 stud RB's USC has faced in last 2 years, and some of them USC has faced twice. All 6 RB's have or will get drafted by NFL so I am not hyping them up. I also would say a few of these RB's I mentioned are better or more talented than Perry. I am not dissing Perry, he is great running back, but so are these I mentioned. Lastly, what about the 3 STUD RB's USC has this year? All 3 are super talented and bring something different to table. What about the 3 RB's who all are playing in the NFL now that were on the team last year that this defense faced? Perry will be nothing special because this defense has seen RB's at least as good as Perry if not bettter. Also they face RB's in practice who are more talented than Perry. Don't believe me? All 3 RB's USC has playing right now were top 10 in nation out of high school. Pretty scary. Lendale White, Reggie Bush (future Heisman) and Hershall Dennis. Chauncy Washington also was top 10 RB in nation out of high school but he is redshirting so i am not counting him. So i guess USC has 4 top 10 nationally rated RB's on the team that the USC defense faces everyday. Yep, I think USC is prepared for Perry.
