Looks like Liriano is scratched for tomorrow...

http://www.twincities.com/mld/twincities/

Line up on Pinnacle right now is Liriano -212...wouldn't it make sense to uncheck the Liriano must start box and play Texas +194. Then when the line is adjusted play Minnesota. Am I missing something?

What is the point of having the box that you can uncheck for pitcher must start?

Are you talking about the new adjusted price for Minny...unless Santana were the new pitcher then it should be a nice size middle, right?

If pitcher is changed last minute and you can't place a bet on the new pitcher, then bets would be voided. But if you want 'action' regardless, you would not list the pitcher (s) with the understanding that you could get an adjusted price should there be a change....can be a better or worse price.

Let me get this straight then, if I take TX at +187 and uncheck both pitchers they will void it and give me a new line.

They should honor the +187 if you wanted action. Can someone please clarify this?

Thanks!

Here is the rule at Pinnacle.

In the event there is a pitching change prior to the game, the money-line will be re-adjusted and "action" wagers will be graded using the opening price for the new pitcher.

Padilla just got rocked by the Royals on Friday night.

My play is Texas +195 for 3*... let's hope this information holds up. Even if it's wrong, I don't expect Liriano to pitch more than 90-100 pitches since he's hurting.

BigDog,

Pinnacle has their rules and your action bet would be canceled. However, many offshores let an action bet play out.

I could have played Texas for 10* (+195) and then played
Twins -130 for 10* and guarantee $650 or breaking even... DAMN! I should have been thinking more.

I'm going to let my Texas play for 3* (+195) ride as I have action. Thanks for the great information.
