Real classy thread. Some guys from Ohio and Pennsylvania trying to divert attention from their sh*thole states by dogpiling on Texas...funny stuff :shrug:

Just wondering...have you ever been out of the country and have someone ask where you were from? That look of indifference on their face when you respond "Ohio" is awful hard to disguise.

My bad......that was terrible to say.My daughter is a "longhorn" and went to the game yest.Lives and teaches in Austin.
My wife is from Paris,Texas.Met her at North Texas St in Denton.

I like Texas.Just wish they could talk the correct way.My wife has lost most of her accent.Still cannot say "yellow" and "July".
"jewlie" and "yeller".

Austin city schools have told all elementary teachers that the word "ya'll" will not be allowed in classrooms.It's incorrect English.
I told you guysz that incorrect many moons ago.

But my favorite when I visit my daughter in Austin is to sit at a Starbucks across the street from her appartment.I get up early,buy the Houston Post,Dallas Morning News,San Ant Express and Austin Stateman.Sit in a recliner with a table lamp next to me and listen to about 200 orders of..

Caffe latte grand or cappuchino.
I hear kaaa-faaa-laaa-tayyyyy groundaaaaa

And Mack is a great recruiter but a terrible bench coach.
But I do really like Texas and their woman.

I know your daughter is teaching there, but I figured she's just there as an ambassdor for the other states telling native Texans that if they knew what was good for them, they'd start packin' their bags! LOL!
