Yea, they are more of a nuisance than anything. We used to get this big "bunch" of them in the corners of rooms on the southern exposure of the house - literally hundreds of them.

Now, with the spraying - nothing!

Big Daddy, how's the bar doing? I know a lot of bars and restaurants have been suffering or gone under over the past couple years over this way. Hope things are going well for you.

Hi Chad, been out all day. Just saw your post. Been a pretty normal summer so far at the bar. Statewide smoking ban goes into effect July 5th. We will see what happens. I don't expect much difference at my place, since the younger crowd we have at night is basically non-smoking anyway. Might lose a few Happy Hour people for a while, but they will be back after they are done being pissed off. The anti-smoking people have won. Nothing we can do about it now.

Hope things stay solid for you, BD. Being a non-smoker, I enjoy the smoking ban when I go out (which isn't often), but I certainly understand the business aspect, and it does hurt business. I've seen the effects here in our small town, and have read plenty about the bars in Minneapolis and elsewhere. It's not a big deal for the upscale clubs and younger clubs, but for the smaller "regulars" kinda places it's definitely hurting.

I have not been to Chicago since my sister passed, but want to go back to visit brother in law at some point soon. Will definitely try to hook up at your place on my way there and/or back.
