Finally....Cherokee casino went live....they have been more or less ready to go for weeks ; could not go live until it appeared in Federal Registry. I think the coronation err inauguration of George held it up.
Currently about a dozen tables up offering 4-8 10-20 and 2-5 no limit, as well as 4-8 10-20 Omaha and 1-5 seven card stud. Will have 30 tables operational very shortly...
.First class operation after the wrinkles are fixed...plasma tvs everywhere, NON Smoking, super friendly staff, bad beat starts at 2k, lots of giveaways planned including a car I believe.....

Lots of cheap hotels nearby...the casino has brand new rooms also...

They are planning on being a WPT satellite site, so tournament play is around the corner....this is the first live poker site in the state and they are going to make it THE PREMIER SITE....if you are in the area or sick of Kansas City action, try it out, lots of fresh meat Okies to pick-off :scared

Built in Catoosa...193rd east ave and I-44...can't miss it, originally built in late 80's I believe..did Bingo and Electronic games...now they have added new wing, added hotel and golf course.. it is as close to vegas style and decor...some fine restaurants, small sportsbar....
They got rid of Bingo some time ago, now we got a dozen blackjack tables, pai-gow, 30+ table poker room along with the one-eyed bandits...(used to be one armed)
I have lived here 30+ years and saw the demise of "Liquor by the drink" never thought the Baptists would allow Poker and Lottery...whats next? Prostitution?....the final days must be upon us.... :mj07: gltu
