Wayne, I'm surprised you posted this since it goes against what a lot of you have been saying about Obama turning this into a Socialist country.

The skit finally points out what I have been complaining about: Obama hasn't done shit! I have to read post after post about how Obama is ruining this country but all I see is a softer, less aggressive Bush. The radio nutjobs are riling everyone up over nothing (truly nothing). It's such a joke.

If the screwballs want him out of office, all they have to do is demand results. He hasn't done a damn thing, as far as I can see. This is why I hate the two party system, you get who they give you and nothing changes.

Garry I actually thought they were a little unfair to Obama--this is 1st media to buck the trend--wonder if others follow.

--my main bitch is he has put priorities--economy-immigration-war on back burners -to social agendas.

--and on side note--I think huge dem majority will prove to be more of detriment than asset--we are getting instant replay of when rebs had both--only in spades.

There definately needs to be checks and balances between exectutive and legislative branchs on both sides. IMHO

Lots of people voted to end the wars, people wanted change, transparency in government. Well, like always we've been sold the same old shit.
Don't you hate the liars and the lies that they tell.
I'll start with what bothers me the most but these four things that I've listed are what bothers me the most.
I'm sure that they are others at this forum that have a list , open borders with too many illegals easily could be #5, give me some feed back, tell me how you feel . Is it just me that hates the government more and more everyday !!!!

#1 The wars are wrong , so fucking wrong, young men and women going to war and dying, giving up everything they have and everything that they will ever have for big business,large corporations,big oil,halliburton,blackwater just to name a couple.The list is endless.Why are people so blind to the facts that these wars are about money and the whores that profit from them.
#2 The bail out of AIG. So fucking wrong .The biggest SCAM of our time, so that AIG could pay off the banks for the insurance they had purchased. 80 billion to GOLDMAN SACHS.Capitalism on the way up with the worst case of socialism on the way out. To this day nothing has changed. So be ready when the next tsunami wave comes pounding on your 401,stocks,bonds,savings or whatever else that you own that you think you have that is safe. If the DEVIL is running the show then we all must be going to HELL !!
#3 Lobbyist are behind every door, this has to change !!Obama said something about too many lobbyist,yet to this day , has anything changed,Hell if anything, it has gotten worst.
#4 This one is the worst.The fucking FED is our damnation,a CANCER from within, something has to be done. Ron Paul talks about it , is anyone listening. Bless him for trying but he can't get the job done.
If you think that Baucus and the gang of six is bought by the insurance companies, then can you imagine the money and power that the FED has, and the political leaders that they control, not only Iin our government, but around the world .

Here is something to think about, did you know that a BILLION people in our world don't have clean drinking water , why you ask, for the simple reason that there is NO PROFIT in it, the poor can't pay.

Great post. Also your post about Obama being a "softer Bush" hit the nail right on the head.

I understand the whole thing is crooked but what I don't understand is that the American people voted the Republicans out of power by a landslide. Yet this Obama is always saying he wants to make things bi-partisan. Why? We voted NO to the Republicans and the BS for which they stand. Now we have this crook trying to tell us that we need their votes. To Hell with their votes. Time for Obama to be a man and do something or to switch parties.

Good points Hard Times. Corporations and lobbyists are very troublesome. Congress taking there money, even worse.

As for Obama, I feel the jury is still out for good reason. He was dealt a tough hand and shouldn't be expected to turn things around so soon. The cards are so bad, no one person can turn things around. As you said, the ruling party better get their act together real soon. Do something decisive and quit worrying about filling your pockets and getting re-elected.
