I've been checking this out the last couple of nights and thought it was great but have never seen anything. Get on today around 2 and heard some drums in the background and some chanting and thought I was going to see some Shaka Zulu shit going on. Next thing I know drums stop and hear people clapping and then a nascar sounding woooooo. No way a native could make a sound like that it was straight out of the backwoods of the South. I'm not questioning the location of the watering hole just wondering if its a tourist stop where you can go on a safari and also see a tribal dance. Maybe they have a sateillite tv and have seen a race and can imitate that sound, but I don't think so, probably someone visiting. Let me know if you've heard the drums before.

took a while.....but I found out where this cam is:

it is in Nkorho Pan!!!

"Nkorho Pan is a natural water hole in the prestigious Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, in South Africa. Nkorho pan is named after Nkorho bush Lodge which gets it name from the Shangaan derivative for the call of the yellow-billed hornbill, a common and unusual looking bird from this area."

so now we know where it is :SIB

the cam has been active since July of this year.

Herd of Water Buffalo just walked by......someone is panning this thing around.........there are lights to a complex, or housing to the left of the waterhole......yesterday I distinctly heard some kids and people talking (or muttering).......this thing can't be too remote...............the guy panning the camera showed the lights but didn't stay on them very long. Curious as to what feeds this watering hole (underground spring?)........jeep road runs right by it)......still pretty cool!

There is a dead waterbuffalo next to the camera and lions are eating it. Maybe the guys dumped that body there to feed those little kittens....

Theres not much left of that carcass.....I have been watching this off and on all night, and noticed this Pride didnt go to far from the kill, protecting it.....few Hyenas last night, but I don't think they got near the kill. Someone justed panned around again, and it showed some sort of complex to the left with a huge tower jutting out of the trees. People talking this morning also....
