like BG here, played it at 6.5 online, wanted to play it with local as well.

now thinking this is decent middle opportunity? any suggestions?

Not sure how much you played off-shore but 7 and 8 are mighty fine numbers to have for a middle. I'd try it. Plenty of games left.
