Ok, I live in Redding, CA.....and we have the pretty cool radio contest that asks you to identify 7 people they put in "boat" and is you can guess all 7 you win a pretty nice Bayliner (decked out in Audio)..or you can choose a nice patio boat, both valued in the $40,000-45,000 range. I have been caller 7 (which is who they need, and my daughter has me doing this, but I guessed the wrong person. They start it off with easier clue (Its a County Station)...and then once they get the 6...all you need is to be the 7th caller and identify the 7th member of that damn boat.

Of course the clues have gotten progrssively cryptic....and in 6 days, noone has guessed it. I posted the clues last year and had some great ideas from members....although the winning celebrity was a Archetect named Clatrava who built the local Sun-Dial Bridge..........they do the 7th quite a bit harder than the first 6.

So if any of who guys or girls can guess who it is I would be greatly indebted..........and of course bragging rights go a long way on this board as being the wittiest member...lol.......Here are all the clues thus far! If anything rings a bell, please post as I'm stumped......

1. I'm not a local (which is good)
2. I have my degree
3. I have dark hair
4. Not from Outer Space-I'm from Earth *Gee I hope so...but there may be more to this clue than this one
5. I'm not the only well known member in my family
6. Criticized on Talk Shows
7. I'm not a Musician
8. I'm not a Politician
9. I have been told people know my face, but not my name
10. Under 60 years of age
11. Born in North America, Live in the U.S.
12. Silver Bell (or might be Belle) *This one may be important....not sure
13. Booph (yes that is spelled correctly)
14. GoodNight
15. I have a Long Running Gig
16. I'm a Parent
17. I love my job
18. I'm Married
19. I'm a Regular Talk Show guest
20. The Letter "E"
21. The Letter "S"
22. Not Canadian
23. I have more than one sibling
24. Not From Mexico
25. Full Circle
26. Earth Sign
27. The letter "L"
28. 194 (*no idea what it relates to)
29. I have never given Birth
30. Bridge
31. 1991
32. 3219
33. Letter "N"
34. McDonalds
35. My work required a lot of travel

So there you have it.....the previous celebrities in order were: Willie Nelson, Hugh Grant, Carrie Underwood, Clay Walker, Robert Redford, David Beckham

I'm sure many of these are designed to throw people in different directions...........nothing too substantial, but I thought something here might stand out to one of our extremely educated and intelligent posters. Lets hear it if you think you know!

Previous Guesses by some goofy callers:

Patricia Arquette
Easy E
Williard Scott (isn't this guy a 100)
Connan O'Brien
Matt Laurer
Jeff Corwin
Dr. John Glover
Brian Williams
Jay Leno
Morgan Spurlock (Who?)
Jimmy Kimmel
Chris Cuomo
Prince William (yeah born in US..lol)
Celine Dion
Jay Leno
etc, etc,

I'm sure this is someone who is probably a female, but perhaps adopted.........possibly an athlete, not sure where "Good Night" may come in...I'm sure it isn't anyone too obvious...could be a writer, producer, dancer, scientist, philanthroper, someone who makes video games that are popular, atc...................EX: I don't think its probably Rosie O Donnell....

So would love to hear some educated guesses on Madjacks Brainstorm!

Thanks for your help folks-

My first thought was Ozzy Osbourne as his band Earth was a critical failure before he joined Black Sabbath but it isn't him. So now I am thinking again. Maybe one of the Baldwins? Might be Puerto Rican born.

I'm telling you right now, it's Matt Vasgersian.

Don't even question me.

Ok...won't question you.....don't know who it is, but can't be worse than any of the other guesses I have heard on this station.

FatDaddy, Though about one of the Baldwins.....Alec? buut he is know longer married, these numbers are throwing me off, they have to do with something, and Silver Bell means something important.....just not sure what..........now off to look up Matt Vasgersian (I assume he has never given birth, right?):SIB

YYZ- I know I shouldn't be questioning you, but if you know this guy, is he married? Does he have children? I did a cursory Bio look and couldn't find any of this out....also, does "Silver Bell" or "Silver Belle" mean anything? Perhaps some relation to Heath Bell of Padres?

Anyone else have thoughts or ideas? Thought for sure we would get some brainiac trivia type of guesses..........YYZ may have the right answer though, this guy has some impressive credentials to his background........Thanks

On the course!
I'm not sure if he has a wife: Emily is listed as a g/f as of 2006, but that may have changed.

I know Ray Kroc founded McDonald's, and owned the Padres.

"Good Night, now!" was one of Matt's big home run calls.

He started his carreer in baseball in 1991

If you look up "Booph" in the Urban Dictionary online, they use the name Matt in the sentence describing the word. (A stretch, but maybe not!)

His dad was an actor.

He's back in California (Full Circle)

I've busted my nuts trying to find out if he has kids, is married, when his BDay is, etc.........nada, so far. If he is married, and has any corn, it must have happened in the last year.

Geeeeeeez sus,,,,,

If in fact ur right yyz....

Talk about 6 degrees of separation...

I mean Kroc owed the padres long before Matt was a TV man for them. I mean he was only doing the gig short time for the local cox 4 station.

And to put a clue up as McDonalds....please.

If this is it , I mean the two are not even remotely connected in my opinion. And if it is it,,, I would tell them to take their boat and stick up their arse......

Clue 40:

This person has an Oracle of Bacon Number of 2

Oh yeah...that helps

The Bacon number of an actor or actress is the number of degrees of separation (see Six degrees of separation) they have from actor Kevin Bacon, as defined by the game known as Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. This is an application of the Erdős number concept to the movie industry. The higher the Bacon number, the farther away from Kevin Bacon the actor is. The Bacon number (N) of any actor or actress X can be determined by the following set of rules:

N is 0 if X is Kevin Bacon
N is 1 plus the lowest Bacon number of all of the actors/actresses who have appeared in a movie with X
infinite/undefined if X cannot be connected to Kevin Bacon at all
Notably, Bacon is not the most linkable actor. According to the Oracle of Bacon site, that honour goes to Rod Steiger. The average Steiger number in the acting community is 2.679.[1] By contrast, the average Bacon number is 2.946.[2] The least linkable actor in Hollywood has an average number of 9.2. However, the Oracle of Bacon did not release his/her name.

I guess you are sleeping so my guess was Carrie Fisher. The problem is she has a kid. Is the kid adopted i doubt it. Clue 4 would be the Star wars movies. She has famous parents. She has the ole important Oracle of 2. Lots of clues there that point to her but the giving birth is troubling unless it means she helped someone give birth. Marraige also. Not sure she ever remarried but she was married. Dark hair, use to always be a guest on talk shows. Has the face nobody knows. under 60.
