How did you get a local bookie?

I know it cannot be discussed in full but I have yet to find anyone around my area that takes any action.

If this is a touchy subject, Jack you can close it.

YOUR LOOKING FOR A LOCAL GUY AND I JUST CLOSED ALL MY LOCAL ACCOUNTS I HAD THREE OF THEM WITH TWO DIFFERENT BOOKIES.TRUST ME KID YOU DONT WANT ANY LOCAL GUYS SOME DONT PAY THEY WILL TAKE YOUR ACTION FOR A WEEK IF YOU WIN THEY DONT PAY BUT IF YOU LOSE THEY WILL TAKE A SHOT AT YOU AND COLLECT.I HAVE TWO SOLID LOCAL GUYS BUT YOU HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFULL AND KNOW WHO YOUR PLAYING WITH.

I WOULD RECOMEND TO ANYBODY TO BET OFFSHORE ITS TO EASY TO GET IN TROUBLE WITH LOCAL GUYS WAY TO EASY TO GET OVER YOUR HEAD.

For once some solid advice from BTJ --- I got stiffed in the past, and had a few friends that were owed as well. Guy folded shop and disappeared off the Earth, and we all lost out.

Could happen online I guess as well but doesn't seem as likely.

Yellow Pages under - Guido's Sport Accountants
Seriously, Beantown is correct except for the Off-shore. Still for the life of me can not figure the motivation for giving your SS# over the Internet, even if it's to such a noble character as Mefiffen Paducca in Argentina or West Africa.
Guido doesn't need your SS# or cash upfront, your credit is good enough for him.
If you live within 45 minutes of an OTB site, voila, you're in Mecca.
Good luck, whatever.

I've used dozens of online books and have never once been asked for my social security number and I doubt anyone else ever has either. The most I've ever had to furnish was a copy of my driver's license, and the books' reason for requiring that is totally understandable.
