and the circumstances couldn't be more favorable. The
pitiful Padres limp into Coors Field with an almost un-
believably bad 4-16 record against lefthanders (-$1110,
with only 3.5 runs per game in those contests). Colorado
is 25-11 at home so far, averaging over 7.5 runs per game
in night games. And after dropping a game to the Padres
last night, the visitor will have a tough time the rest of
this series.
