I'm a Yankee Fan as well. I told my buddy who is a Red Sox fan that is was nice to see your young players not produce in the big spot and your old players look old. Now, you'll have to pay more money for the guys you do have while you go out on the market and buy players who aren't gamers and pay them big bux too.

I also told him that we (Yankee fans) went through this two/three years ago and it was nice to see the Sox go down the ladder from beaing a GREAT team to a GOOD team.

Soon they will go from a GOOD team to an OK team then OK to AVERAGE. And if the universe does turn back the way it was - as Hank Steinbreener says - then they will suck.

You run is over - deal with it.

One more thing .If the Sox were coming off 3years of losing in the playoffs id see your point.

There defending champs that are on there way to loseing.

Dont compare our losing ways to your losing ways.
And dont compare our winning ways with your winning ways.

Id bet we have you in the winning ways, but resently Id say you have us in the losing ways ,esp. after that 19-08 win you guys had, only to lose 4 straight.$ STRAIGHT!!!:scared

Im serious .There good, but young.THere all (most of them) are gonna want big money.

Only problem is TB market wont be able to support them.

But lets injoy this moment while it last.

Rusty the TB thing definitely isn't the Marlin thing. They already have some of this monster young talent locked in. They didn't go out and buy a team, they pretty much planned this thing through.

There is no way they can keep there present team intact with there current payroll, plus what they draw per game.No way no how.

Esp. with the way things are goinjg in the economy.

Believe it dude...Garza/Upton are the only two main players they need to resign, they have everyone else locked up, with club options on'em as well. They haven't even really used Price yet, the 2007 first overall pick and 11th ranked prospect in all of baseball.

For starters a few have 1year contracts.2nd the players that are being underpaid (esp if they win WS are gonna make a stink about being underpaid(its called H-O-L-D-I-N-G O-U-T).

Usually ends up as being traded .Wait and you will see.

They average 20,000 per game.
Just recently they drawed 37,000 per game as it was clear that they were on there way.

Dont listen to Buck Martinez.Trust me they will get big heads.

ESP if they win WS!

Your arguments are moot. They're gonna fall on their face vs. Philly
