volfan, i couldn't agree with you more. people always overlook defense. i'm a little disappointed that ok st lost, because i was looking forward to hammering lsu or alabama in the nc game against them. oh well.
as long as people fail to recognize that good defense beats good offense nearly every time, i'll continue to profit on that oversight.

This friday will tell.....problem was hogs played bama , first game after a soft non conference schedule.....they have beat LSU 3 out of last 4 games.....they will b ready to play!

Anyone else just ready to give up on the postseason? I barely watch bowls anymore, just depends if I'm home and want some action. I will watch the BCS title game, except for last year. Barely watch the rest of BCS b/c its all spread out and don't feel like going to bed at 1am every night for meaningless games....
That said, biggest thing I want is to get rid of overtime. If there are no playoffs and if there is still a chance for multiple "champions" why do we need an unfair overtime. There has yet to be invented a fair ot, so why use it except for playoff games, which college (div 1) doesn't have....
LSU, Alabama, Ok St....they are all unbeaten with a tie. Oregon almost tied today. Who deserves to play for the title? There is no answer. There is no real champion in this sport and its so sad.
Its funny now that Alabama may actually have an advantage by losing to LSU, b/c they may lock into the "title" game while LSU has to win an extra game. If LSU wins out and then loses the conference game....could Alabama play someone else for the national title while the SEC champion is just happy for playing spoiler?
Great games today and I enjoyed it while having money on almost nothing. But it is what it is and its just gotten funny to hear people argue about it. Might as well discuss religion. There is no right answer until they change the system but they won't b/c the sheeple will continue to love the controversy.
