Was wondering why the despicable SC murderer is a representative of the south as a whole, while the Muslim murderer is not representative of islam? Aren't they both scumbags acting alone?

In nola, statues of Robt E Lee and Jefferson Davis are being removed, and streets names after these men and others are up for renaming simply because a cowardly and evil racist acted alone in murdering 9 Christians in a church. Will there be a backlash against muslims for yesterday's cowardly shooting? I sure hope not, but would definitely like some of the intelligent minds around here to explain the difference to me. I am pretty sure there has already been a great amount of backlash against the muslim community about this and every other thing.

And I would think that the shooting in Carolina was the tipping point, not the sole reason for these things happening.

Well I was talking to a customer last night where I work and we talked about different things. He talked about the shooting and we should do something about the muslims in this country. Felt pretty strong about it. Then on the way home I was listening to the KFI morning guy Bill Handel who talked about the muslims but he said that of all the muslims in the world the ones here assimilate overall into the American culture stronger then any other place in the world. Then there is the whole sunni/shiite aspect. Was this guy sunni? Appears so. The twin tower terrorists were. Don't know about the Ft. Hood shooter. ISIS is sunni which consider all shiite's apostates that deserve death. Certain people get crazy over the Iran deal but I see it as a buffer against ISIS exspansion. Anyway, getting off track. In my opinion, the history of what happened 160 years and since is the reason. Those who have long wished to remove Confederate Landmarks are now empowered to do so. I feel strongly that the flag SHOULD NOT fly on any govt building city or state. Statues/roads, I don't feel as strongly but will not cry a river if they are gone. Always found it odd that military bases are named after confederate commanders. Especially Ft. Hood named after the worst operational commander the south had. Well other then Bragg. No Ft. Longstreet? I guess calling out the patron saint in print was his crime.

I'm starting a petition to change the name of Arab, AL. How about GO TIDE, AL ? Also they should call their places of worship from mosque's to dome's. Whatcha think Cie ?
