Hi Guys,

I've been a lurker for close to 4 years. Thought I would decide to post.

Really like Wood & the Cubs tonight. I had the over 6.5 in last nights game and after seeing the Cubs score 4 runs before the 3rd inning was over, I thought I was in good shape. I then got to witness the Brewers offense do absolutely nothing (aside from newcomer and cleanup guy Russ Braynan hitting a first pitch fastball 500 feet).

I'm not impressed with their offense and feel Wood can match the performance Maddux gave last night. The only thing that puzzles me is the fact that the Cubs only hit .232 as a team versus lefties (Capuano is a LP) when their big bats (Sosa, Alou, Lee, Ramirez) are all righties?

Either way, they won't keep me from playing the Cubs -150 as an above average play.

That's baffled me, as well. The Cubs lineup looks custom-made to torch lefties, yet that hasn't been the case. I thought it would eventually straighten up, but we're damn near in August and it still hasn't. Good luck.
