There are some good prices out there. I'm going to blow a few bucks and see if one of these teams can make a run in the tourney. Opinions wanted.

U of L, Cuse, G.T., Ok St., Kansas, Uconn

Since when are 2 and 3 seeds longshots to win it all? I see uconn as one of the 5 favorites to win it all at my book. I think Bama is a good longshot, when they are playing well they can beat anybody in the country.

If you had a horse that was 18-1 odds would you say you bet the favorite? I'm trying to narrow it down to 5 teams that have a legitimate shot to win it, at a decent payoff. These teams aren't 50-1, but they're definitely not getting the attention they deserve. By you're reasoning, based on seeds, Washington should be a heavy fav to win it all, but they're not.

Does a horse race have 64 horses? Just expected "longshots" to be teams with like 30-1 odds or so at least that is my defintion of a longshot, and not teams like ku, ok. st. or uconn who are all among the top 8 favorites to win it all. Sorry just wouldnt categorize those teams as longshots. Still like Bama as a true longshot, and everyone in the media is taking unc or illinois to win it all, so if you are looking for teams that aren't getting the attention they deserve, than that is anybody other than unc or illinois.

SYRACUSE!!!!!!!!

Syracuse at 29-1 odds to win it all is the best value by far. I see them going to the final four. They are in an easy bracket and have the talent to beat anyone. They also play solid defense and have inside/outside threats. Great team to bet on at 29-1 odds. Lotta value.

txag, uconn is 25.5/1. that is a longshot, i don't care what seed they are thats big odds to win the title. right now anything other than unc, ill, wake, duke,ok st is a long shot with the rest of the field at least 22.5/1. scott you're right syracuse has a great chance to win it all. i think they'll lose to the heels in the final 4 though.

Hoops what reasoning is there to think UNC will suddenly decide to turn it on, or that Roy has all of the sudden learned to win the big game? Not to mention just to get to the Final Four that Roy would have to beat UConn - again - in essentially a home game or the same KU kids he abandoned that would give their left arms to beat him. UNC probably has the most talent in the country, but they really appear uininspired and lacking in team chemistry to me. They supposedly wanted the ACC tourney title very badly as none of the kids had ever won one and looked how that turned out.

For what its worth, I ahve Okie St. winning it in my bracket...think Graham can match up with any of the big men from the dominant teams in the country, and he can nail the 3...McFarlin is one of the most underrated big men in the country, and Lucas is by far one of the most exciting point guards in the nation, and he is clutch at the end of th game making big baskets...Sutton aint to bad of a coach either

i'm no pac10 advocate but the only future plays i made in the tourney were washington @ +2700 and arizona @ +2450. those numbers just show no respect at all. huskies @ 27 to 1 could be the longest odds ever laid on a #1 seed.

Eddie Sutton hasnt done any coaching in a long time. His son is the real coach. However, I begrdgingly have Okie State Aggies winning it all as well.

Oklahoma St. has not shown me a whole lately. They struggled badly to beat Kansas who was missing a key starter and who has not been playing great either. They struggled to beat Texas Tech in Big 12 Champ game. They ended the year going 3-3 and either barely winning or barely losing. No convincing wins. Can they a team away? Let any team hang around they will upset you in the tourney. They played there way out of a #1 seed to the end the year.

Then OSU has the problems with their big men. They also have problems staying out of foul trouble and everyone knows Tourney games are called very tight. Sutton is a stubbon coach and won't make adjustments. What if the zone is needed to beat Illinois, I don't think Sutton will switch to zone. Plus Augustine for Illinois can create matchup problem yet OSU doesn't really create any matchup problems for Illinois.

That said, I think OSU is the 6th likely team to win it all so I do think highly of them! I just disagree with picking them in a bracket.
