JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- The Jefferson City Police Department is preparing for potential pickets by the Westboro Baptist Church at various locations in the city Tuesday.

The police department says they have spoken with other area law enforcement to make sure the protests remain peaceful and safe for both Westboro Baptist protesters and counter-protesters.

Police say past demonstrations by such groups have rarely resulted in arrests or disorderly conduct.

Police have also been in contact with the Jefferson City Public School District and Lincoln University about maintaining safety and order during possible demonstrations.

The police department says they respect the right to peaceful demonstration and they are confident that the community will also respect that right.

So, what are the facts?

An 18 year old,6"4, 284 lb, (my baby!, says his Mama), never employed, lousy student, gang member, commits a strong armed robbery, fifteen minutes later tries to whup-ass a local cop who ends up shooting him down. Hell, the cop shot him only six times from a nine round gun. I'd have emptied it.

What's not to like about that?

Now there are riots in the street, because a worthless POS ate some lead?

It's got nothing to do with his race. If he'd have been Bubba Whiteboy, I'd have given him the full nine too.
